Your piano classes will be tailored to you and your goals. My aim is to help students learn to play the piano in a rewarding and fun way! I believe the key to efficient and enjoyable learning comes from understanding what's in and behind the music, instead of practicing mechanically. I earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Piano and classical music with distinction from the Boccherini Institute of Lucca and the Pergolesi Conservatory of Fermo in Italy. I also have a degree in Neuroscience, so I know how our brain learns!
I may be available even at times outside the "availability table".

I am educated and experienced music teacher coming from Czech Republic. I graduated Prague Conservatoire and I also attended in many international piano courses with well known pianist such as Eugen Indjic and others.

I have experiences with teaching children from very early age as well as teaching adults. I have my own way of teaching playing the piano small children with telling stories and playing games with piano which is very effective. I taught at international Montessori school in Prague in English, so I am experienced with this.

Hey there, I'm Zeynep! I was born in Turkey, Istanbul but I was raised internationally and went to a half English- half Turkish bilingual school. I am currently living in Zurich, Switzerland. I'm studying architecture at the ETH. I'm very passionate about teaching and I really enjoy it! Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.

I have 10 years of experience in being a music instructor. That's not only piano lessons, it's also a theory of music, history of music, and vocal and orchestral projects.

I've worked with students from all around the world - most of them attended the American School of Warsaw and the British School of Warsaw. The idea is not only to teach how to play the right notes and to know the main composers, but I also want my students to feel the music, to be able to find out what the idea of an art piece is. It is also very important for me to encourage a child to find his own style of playing. From my point of view, there are no people deaf to music, just people who aren’t acquainted with music, till now!

It is well known that music classes are not only pleasant but as well music classes are very helpful and important in a child’s education and development. Kids who play instruments learn languages faster and more productively, focus better, and it has been shown to perform better in math and science.
