Pianolessen voor beginners
Als beginner leer je de basis van het pianospelen door middel van leuke en leerzame oefeningen, eenvoudig klassiek repertoire en je favoriete popliedjes. We leren hoe je op een praktische en eenvoudige manier muziekpartituren leest! Vanaf daar gaan we langzaam over op moeilijkere stukken, waarbij we een comfortabele en plezierige manier van spelen opbouwen.

Geavanceerd en Piano
Ben je een gevorderde speler die meer wil leren over klassieke muziek en op zoek is naar manieren om je pianospel naar een hoger niveau te tillen? Duik in verschillende stijlen of hoe je kamermuziek speelt?

Doelen voor leren
We richten ons op een ontspannen houding, behendigheid, articulatie, toucher, gepersonaliseerde oefeningen, toonladders, arpeggio's, etudes. Geniet van het spelen van je favoriete stukken van Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Rachmaninov en Einaudi om te knallen.

Muziek theorie
Muziektheorie is net zo belangrijk als het bespelen van een instrument en mijn lessen combineren oefening en theorie. Leer over ritmische structuren en de manier waarop melodieën worden opgebouwd en krijg een dieper begrip van harmonie en muziekgeschiedenis.

Wat te verwachten?
Piano spelen is een zeer veeleisende activiteit die tijd en geduld vereist, maar het kan ook ontzettend leuk zijn! De kracht voelen van het creëren van geluid door je eigen handen is een geweldige ervaring die we allemaal zouden moeten voelen. In de lessen leer je ook hoe je op een tijdbesparende manier kunt oefenen. Hiervoor geef ik je duidelijke en praktische instructies.

Over mij
Meer dan 10 jaar geleden verhuisde ik van een klein stadje in het noorden van Spanje naar Barcelona en sindsdien heb ik een aantal van de belangrijkste conservatoria in Europa gevolgd: Liceo Conservatory in Barcelona, Conservatory Amsterdam en The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. De afgelopen jaren heb ik het geluk gehad om concerten te geven in Italië, Duitsland, Frankrijk en Spanje en heb ik eerste prijzen gewonnen bij internationale kamermuziekwedstrijden. Op dit moment combineer ik mijn kamermuziek- en solistenconcerten met pianoles.

Pianospelen op een leuke manier is mogelijk! In deze lessen leert je kind piano spelen met behulp van verschillende technieken zoals zang, beweging en body-percussie.

Ik behaalde mijn bachelordiploma in klavecimbel en mijn master in "Muziekonderwijs volgens het Kodály Concept" van het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag.

Ik heb ervaring met het doceren van piano en klavecimbel in de afgelopen twee jaar. Ik heb gewerkt bij Liduina Basisschool (Den Haag), aan het Conservatorium van Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spanje) en privélessen.

Hallo allemaal!
Mijn naam is João, piano en klavecimbel speler.
Ik begon piano te spelen op de leeftijd van 7 jaar oud, en sindsdien werd ik helemaal verliefd op alle toetsenbordinstrumenten en de mogelijkheden van expressiviteit, het duidelijke gevoel van muziek maken, interactie met andere muzikanten, voor mijn eigen plezier, en voor de anderen. Het klavecimbel kwam in mijn leven toen ik 15 jaar oud was. Ik ben absoluut dol op klassieke en barokmuziek en ook op Jazz en Pop.

Ik begon piano te geven toen ik 20 was en ik moet bekennen dat het een grote passie in mijn leven werd!
Ik zie mijn studenten graag verbeteren, kennis maken met verschillende muziekstijlen en gemotiveerd zijn.
Ik ben bekwaam in het lesgeven aan kinderen en volwassenen, beginners of ervaren met de keyboard- en / of muziektheorie.

Daarom gebruik ik verschillende methoden, afhankelijk van de behoeften en verwachtingen van de student. Elke student is speciaal, dus een les kan verschillen, afhankelijk van het niveau van de student. Normaal begin ik met warming-up en technische oefeningen (houding is erg belangrijk!), Een korte contextualisering van de muziektheorie van wat er in de les zal worden aangepakt en vooral, veel plezier en zorgen voor een leuke sfeer tijdens de les.

In 2014 heb ik het barokmuziekorkest Le Concert d'Apollon opgericht, onder leiding van klavecimbel en muziekdirecteur.

Als je bereid bent om piano te leren spelen of door te gaan met studeren, zal het me een genoegen zijn om je te laten zien hoe het leren van een toetsenbordinstrument zoveel kan toevoegen in je leven. Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood.
I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument!

Lessons
Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions.
I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation.
You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around.

When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun.
I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation.
At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing.

About me
Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020.
I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
My academic studies were built on classical music but I also have some experience in pop and rock music.

I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation.

I like playing games, singing and coming up to most creative solutions for learning fast inside of a save space for questions and imagination of the student. It is very important to motivate the students regarding to their music tastes.
