About Me

I am in my final year studying to be a primary school teacher so I have plenty of experience with teaching! I grew up around music and took piano and guitar lessons throughout my childhood and teenage years. I then taught myself the ukulele. I have previously taught piano and ukulele to young children in school and to my younger cousins but I am open to teaching all age groups. I also completed leaving cert music so I am open to teaching music theory or giving music grinds.

Bachelors in education:
I am currently in my final year studying primary school education in DCU. As part of my training I have completed six placements now. In these placements I taught music lessons involving instruments, theory, and singing.

The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS.

Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress.

Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

I am a professional musician and have been teaching students of all ages for over 20 years. My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students.
