Daphne is a teacher of both Suzuki and traditional violin, and has been teaching for the past 22 years. She has taught privately in Greece and the UK, at various music conservatories in Athens, the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music in London, St Catherine’s British School in Athens, the South Shore Conservatory in Boston, MA, and Ecole FACE in Montreal. She is a founding member of/teaches through Bariolage School of Music in Montreal and also offers lessons via FaceTime. Daphne also enjoys coaching ensembles, and has worked with the South Shore Conservatory Youth Orchestra (SSCYO). In 2012 she coached and directed the inaugural concert of the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Baroque Consortium (ASON) at the Goethe Institute in Athens. Learning a musical instrument can be an equally exciting and daunting journey. Having gone through ups and downs herself throughout her own musical career, she values the need to have a constant love of music and a nurturing, supportive teacher. Daphne’s aim is to create a solid technical foundation in all her students, regardless of their age, and create a challenging yet supportive environment. Being a Suzuki kid herself, she loves having come full circle, and sharing the principles of the Method with both Suzuki and traditional students.

Graduated with a master's degree in Statistics and Finance, currently operating for a large Canadian firm in the field of business intelligence, I teach math courses for all levels. Do you have difficulties in math? You do not understand your course or you do not know how to apply it? Do you want to prepare for your exams and need to review your methodology? Do you lose a lot of points due to miscalculations? Don't panic: succeeding in math isn't as difficult as you think. I offer refresher courses, deepening of knowledge and preparation for exams. Passionate about science and especially mathematics and statistics, I like to share my knowledge with my students. Serious and passionate, I have given lessons for several years in Paris to students at college, high school and as an assistant to tutorials at Paris Descartes University. I am rather available on weekends, Saturday or Sunday. Otherwise I can also be available during the week from 7 p.m. I will also follow up by email throughout the week (exercises and corrections, help with homework ...) I am available in and around Montreal. I can receive at home (in the city center - entertainment district) or move because I am transported. Interested?
