About Me

I have been working as an English teacher in Kobe for the past six years, specializing in teaching young learners. I am passionate about teaching and always make sure that my students enjoy and learn English in a positive and supportive environment.

Education

I completed my bachelor’s degree in the Philippines in 2016, where I received both indoor and outdoor teaching training. During my studies, I experienced different cultures and languages, which helped broaden my perspective as an educator. It was a meaningful journey that prepared me well before graduating as a teacher.

Before coming to Japan, I taught in the Philippines for two years, from elementary to high school. Since 2019, I have been working in Japan as an English teacher for young learners.

I specialize in teaching English as a second and foreign language. I can teach how to use English in everyday situation. In addition, i can help students overcome their difficulties studying English. My teaching strategy is focused on how to make students confident with their English.

All levels are welcome! The best way to learn the language is to do it without cheating by using another one you already know. Therefore, just learning from my best teachers, the only language in my classes will be English. If you are preparing for an exam, want to move abroad or just want to improve yourself even more, let me be your guide on your way to proficiency!

Generally, my classes include songs, films, books and other interactive resources, as well as the good old textbook material. However, I would like to discuss with you how you would like me to teach in your classes as I'm sure you will know best!
