Hello everyone,
My name is Ena and i am a professional classical singer, i recently moved to Geneva and started my Season at the Grand Theatre de Geneve as a mezzosoprano in Ensemble of the opera.
Since i love teaching, even with my busy schedule i try to find time to pass my knowledge and passion for singing to whomever is in need or would just like to try it out:)
I have 2 Master degrees in my field and have been professionally singing on big stages since 10 years now.
My focus of the lessons is mainly on technique and breathing but nevertheless fun and discovering new things are definitely gonna be big part of it too.
You can decide which genre you would like to sing (classical, pop, jazz, musical..) and then the journey starts!

Pianiste et chef de chant, diplômée de la Haute École de Musique de Genève en piano et lauréate de la Bourse du Cercle Wagner, je suis passionnée par l'univers de la voix et le coaching vocal. Mon parcours, riche et diversifié, m'a permis de collaborer avec de nombreux artistes et ensembles à travers la France et l'Europe. J'ai eu l'opportunité de participer à des concerts avec diverses formations, de préparer des chanteurs et de les accompagner lors de productions d'opéras, en conservatoire ou encore en tant que coach vocal pour chœurs et oratorios. Chacune de ces expériences a nourri et façonné mon parcours professionnel.

Travaillant aussi bien avec des professionnels qu'avec des amateurs, j'ai développé une pédagogie souple et adaptée à chacun, qui m'a permis de diversifier mon approche et d'enrichir ma pratique.

Grâce à ma connaissance approfondie du répertoire opératique et mélodique, je propose des prestations de coaching et/ou d'accompagnement au piano, que ce soit pour la préparation aux examens, concours, auditions, spectacles, ou la mise en place de rôles d'opéra. Je suis également disponible pour un accompagnement dans le cadre d’un travail musical plus personnel. Des cours semi collectifs sont également possibles à domicile.

I am a Clarinet, Saxophone and Vocal coach from Zimbabwe with over a decade of teaching and performance experience from leading a successful solo career and working as a music teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz singing from Haute Ecole de Musique (HEMU) Lausanne where I am currently studying a Masters in Jazz Pedagogy. I have also studied music in Dublin Ireland, where I acquired a Higher Certificate in Jazz and Contemporary Music from Newpark Music Centre's Berklee Track program which is facilitated by Berklee College of Music in Boston. I was the 2024 laureat of the Foundation Casino Barrier Award for talent and creativity and a 2018 winner of the Zimbabwean National Arts Council's National Arts Merit Award (NAMA). I am excited to find eager students at all levels who are keen to learn and challenge themselves in making and learning music. My classes are dynamic, engaging and well prepared.

Welcome,

I am a singing teacher, a student of lyrical singing at the Geneva Conservatory of Music since the age of nine and of modern singing at the Institute of Complete Vocal Education in Geneva since 2009.

I offer private and group lessons at home (between Geneva and Thonon). I can also welcome students to their homes in Veigy.
I teach in English or in English.

I guide the student through the initiation to singing and the establishment of reflexes essential to their practice. Generally speaking, these points include body/facial posture, breathing, accuracy, and rhythm. At the same time, I encourage them to discover and practice each mode, color, and effect that can be achieved with the voice.

I use the piano and/or guitar as support.

I also offer recording and looping sessions as well as support in songwriting.

The voice is a personal and complex instrument, which is why I adapt each lesson to the goals and personalities of my students.

Mais vous ne savez pas forcément par où commencer, cependant vous aimez ressentir cette joie lorsque vous chantez.

Je m'appelle Daniela. Je suis un étudiant de la Haute école de Musique: Bachelor "Musique et mouvement" sur la méthodologie Jaques Dalcroze où vous apprenez la musique à travers le corps.
Je suis également chanteuse du jazz professionnel. J'ai 2 projets musicaux à Genève (musique latinoamericana et du Jazz).

Mes classes se composent de 3 parties fondamentales:

1) La posture du corps et détente: Être conscient de notre posture du corps nous aide à chanter de manière plus fluide, libre et ouvert.

2) L'échauffement de la voix: Où différents exercices vocaux sont effectués en fonction de l’objectif de la chanson qu'on va travailler ce jour-là. Par exemple si vous voulez chanter Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston , Rihanna, etc. On va utiliser beaucoup plus la voix de la poitrine (chest voice), mais si nous voulons chanter seulement des fragments de notes aiguës, on va utiliser la voix du tête (avec air, neutre, mix voice, falsetto) la zone et plus aiguë du piano. Chaque chauffage dépend de ce que vous voulez travailler en classe.
J’aime travailler le "Belting" qui est une technique bien connue par les chanteurs.

3) Répertoire des chansons : Vous travaillez la technique en utilisant les chansons que la personne veut chanter, dans différents styles variés comme par exemple pop bossa nova, boleros, jazz, français,anglais rock , etc.

Mais n’oublions pas que chanter est un moment pour se connecter avec notre voix intérieure: pour profiter, chanter, danser.

My goal here is above all to share my passion. Each lesson will therefore be adapted according to the style, level and desires of the student. After many years of study and experience as a soloist on the world's greatest stages, alongside leading conductors and directors, I have chosen to combine teaching with my international career in order to share my expertise with anyone who wishes - by vocation or passion - to discover the fascinating world of opera singing.

A solo career is a demanding one: you need solid technique, a high degree of self-confidence, and a thorough understanding of your vocal instrument to be able to manage and care for it. But good technique is just as essential for those who sing for pleasure or in a choir, whether professional or amateur.

Each voice has its own particularities, and together we will seek to respect the nature of your instrument and lay the foundations for a healthy technique, based on correct diaphragmatic breathing.

My lessons last one hour and are suitable for everyone: whether you are a beginner or an experienced singer.

Hello to you !

I am a soloist in full career, graduated with a Bachelor and a Master of Soloist in Lyric Singing from the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne. I have 24 years of singing lessons behind me and a rich stage experience. I lead my solo career on the stages of many countries (England, Milan, Paris, Bordeaux, Geneva, Lausanne, Brazil, Belgium...). Although already having significant experience in vocal teaching, I am, in parallel with my career, pursuing a 2nd Master in Vocal Teaching at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, in an effort to further perfect my approach to singing teaching.

Before specializing in opera singing, I performed for more than 12 years in the pop/variety genre.

I will help you discover your voice, whether you are a beginner or experienced, on a technical, musical and aesthetic level.

I can also help you learn your musical part if you are a member of a choir.

We'll discuss your goals and work with a methodology that works for you. A tailor-made path to help you progress as you wish.

Classes are generally structured around a warm-up and technique section (body awakening, exercises, vocalizations), then we work on the piece(s) you want to sing. And finally, we take a few minutes to debrief on the class and discuss what's next.
