Fine arts, Painting, and Color Theory Learn Painting and Color TheoryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I have graduated from the National School of Fine Arts "Ilia Petrov" in Sofia, Bulgaria with a diploma for painting and I have studied Painting and Pedagogics at the National Academy of Art, Burgas Branch for a year. I love children. I have worked in kids' creative workshops before. My class is a simple painting class for anyone that loves drawing already and people who are not quite sure, but love color and would like to learn something new. I would love to give in my lessons the students the freedom to experiment with materials and textures, which I wasn't allowed myself during my time in art school. The teachers were a bit old fashioned and told me they prefer me to stick to more classical techniques, and as long as I wouldn't tell them that my work was "mixed media", they would love my paintings. The class includes Color Theory that will explain as we work on different projects and themes. Essentially Color Theory is how colors correspond to each other on the painting surface and how differently they get along on the working palet. Of course, the class is mainly for fun, but I do want the students to actually be learning and progressing so I may give assignments to do at home and then bring and show to me next time, as well as we would work together when the class is happening. However I'm not going to give grades to the attendants, I might verbally explain what I like and what I don't in work.

English Through Inquiry for Curious Learners Aged 7–12Translate this text using Google Translate.

English Through Inquiry for Curious Learners Aged 7–12Translate this text using Google Translate.

A lively, supportive English class for children aged 7–12 who want to communicate with greater confidence, curiosity and independence. Lessons are built around questions worth exploring: How do stories shape us? What makes a community work? How is technology changing childhood? How can we care for the planet? We use English to investigate ideas, share opinions, solve problems and create things, not merely to complete exercises with increasingly implausible families called the Browns. Children develop the full range of language skills through games, conversation, stories, short texts, creative writing, projects and age-appropriate real-world materials. We practise speaking, listening, reading, writing, viewing and presenting, while building useful vocabulary, clearer pronunciation and secure grammar along the way. The class draws on the inquiry-led spirit of the IB Primary Years Programme and offers a gentle bridge towards the Middle Years Programme. Children are encouraged to become confident communicators, curious inquirers, thoughtful thinkers and open-minded learners. They learn to ask good questions, express ideas clearly, collaborate with others and reflect on how they are improving. Topics can connect to children’s own lives and to the wider world, including identity, friendships, creativity, cultures, technology, travel, sustainability and fairness. Activities are adapted to each child’s age, level and interests, so a confident reader and a hesitant speaker can both make meaningful progress. The aim is simple: to help children enjoy English, use it purposefully and feel increasingly capable of expressing who they are and what they think.

“ Sam is wonderful with children – very patient and kind. Our 9-year-old really enjoyed learning through play, and the Montessori approach made the lesson both fun and educational. Our son was excited, even using some new English words right after the class. ”

“ Victoria is a very lovely teacher, who makes sure to dedicate time to make sure you are all warmed up for class preventing any injury- she also makes very detailed plans so there is absolutely no confusion on what you are doing/working towards! ”
