I welcome applications of all ages and levels who would like to learn cello playing in a personalized way through different methods.
After obtaining my Master’s degree in performance orientation, I am currently doing my Master's degree in instrumental pedagogy at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern. My goal is to guide my students in the discovery of the cello repertoire and technique by using innovative learning methods and the synthesis of the different styles of music.

About Me

My notable achievements in international cello competitions include the XIII. ’Friss Antal’ National Cello Competition – Special price (2011); IX. ’Antonio Janigro’ International Cello Competition – 3rd price (2012); Liezen International Cello Competition - 2nd price (2014); X. ’Antonio Janigro’ International Cello Competition – 2nd price (2014); Haydn Quartet Competition, Indiana University String Academy - 1st Price (2018); 58. International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen – first round (2023); 4. International Krzysztof Penderecki Cello Competition – first round (2023).
Beyond my solo endeavors, I regularly collaborate with my musician sisters in the making of concerts featuring unusual repertoire adapted to their formation, harp, cello and voice.
I perfect my string quartet repertoire as member of the FuSion String Quartet, partnership of passion that connects the traditions and ideas of four countries of origin.

Experience / Qualifications

My artistic journey is not limited to the world of instrumental music. I am a member of
the Angelica Girls' Choir led by Zsuzsanna Gráf, an ensemble recognized for its excellence under the baton of Liszt- and Bartók-Pásztory Prize winner conductor. In addition to my musical pursuits, I explored the world of folklore dance and music, being member of the "Pántlika" ensemble from 2008 to 2017. This multidimensional approach to the arts showcases my commitment to holistic artistic development.

I have many methods and pieces of all levels and styles that we will choose according to your progress and your tastes.

During the class we will perfect the pieces studied, we will do small technical exercises and we will learn new pieces. I will answer your questions and I will give you the work to do for the next time.

Graduated from a Master's degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne and currently studying for a Master's degree in Pedagogy at the Haute Ecole des Arts in Bern, I teach violin and / or music theory at all levels and for all ages!

If you want to start the violin, if your child wants to try it, don't hesitate!

Whether you are a beginner or not, I guide you and adapt to your level, the repertoire you like and the time you want to devote to it, so that it is always a pleasure!

The violin lessons can be accompanied by a supplement in music theory.

I am happy to be able to give joy and confidence in piano playing to each person who is interested, no matter what level, nor age that person has!:)
As a certified teacher ( I fulfilled my BA of piano performance and instrumental teaching in Austria, currently studying a MA), the main points of my teaching focus on the following aspects;
-teaching different stiles (ex pop songs) with the main focus on classical piano
-adapting the methods to each student in an individual way
-focusing on the physical (body contact, relaxation, "healthy playing")
and psychological well-being (reassuring the confidence, building a
foundation for a creative development) of the students
-varying from "notes playing" to improvisation, musical dialogues
and duets
-presenting a clear, yet detailed, colorful way of each piece as an
argument for the student's own understanding/perception regarding it
-approaching and developing technique from musicality
-respecting, supporting and effectively communicating with each
student

Music theory, an essential subject to deeply understand music.
As I am Hungarian, I studied the Kodály method. It is a rather special method which is characterized by a lot of singing, creativity and rhythmic games, which was invented for the education of the people, not for the musical elite. Its effectiveness is proven by many musicians who have grown up in this extraordinary system.
During the lessons we would do several types of exercises:
- listening exercises
- writing exercises
- sing songs, melodies, chords, intervals...
(I am flexible regarding this subject, the student can advise activities/subjects (ex: history of music...))

The goal:
- find the connection between musicality-instrument-theory
- improve ear (absolute/relative), sight-reading, musicality, theoretical knowledge

Learn to play the flute! First, we will focus on the sound production, the position of the mouthpiece and your posture. Then we will deal with playful pieces, we can play in duet and play melodies that you like. Playing the flute will help you develop your memory, hearing and breathing skills.

During the meetings we will work on three well distinguished areas: technique, improvisation and the interpretation of written pieces. In our first encounters, we will establish clear goals, such as securing a repertoire and/or developing specific skills. According to the each musician's needs and intentions, we will discuss topics of music theory, practice ear training and even compose new pieces.

Over the years, I have collected and created a broad variety of materials and exercises and am constantly gathering and tailoring new ones for the attendants. My approach goes beyond the limitations of musical styles. Whether its European Classical, mainstream Pop, Indie Rock, a Latin-American Folk genre or Jazz, all music can be well performed when it is adequately approached and researched.

My focus is on the styles of rock/pop/jazz and improvisation. I would also be happy to delve into music theory and show you the basics (and beyond...) of harmony.

If you're not a grader, it doesn't matter! My first piano lessons were very note based and almost ruined my playing! I'm a firm believer that playing songs by ear from the start helps us absorb songs faster. Of course, the eyes also work and shape patterns, figures and tone sequences on the fretboard or. on the keyboard. Of course, I would also be happy to teach you how to read music.

Growing with joy in playing – developing technique through favorite pieces.

One of the most exciting aspects of playing the piano is the ability to play favorite tunes from movies and Disney fairy tales. You can easily learn and play popular songs that both children and adults will enjoy. This makes practicing the piano even more interesting and inspiring, as you can enjoy familiar and beloved melodies.

The cello is a beautiful instrument from the family of string instruments with a warm, deep sound. The instrument offers the opportunity to play in a wide variety of formations, from solo to in a large orchestra. I have completed an artistic degree and am currently doing a master's degree in education at the Bern University of the Arts. I have already taught for two and a half years in Hanover, where I lived before, and would like to pass on my passion to children. I make my lessons as varied and stimulating as possible - the focus is on fun and games. I also like to improvise with my students on the instrument and am open to all kinds of ideas, including when it comes to the repertoire. But I also have a plan for how I will learn exercises, songs and pieces with the students, depending on their level of difficulty.
