I guide students from the age of 18 and prepare them for exams, among other things, based on the material they need to know. An extra support in addition to the weekday lessons. Adults can contact me for professional or non-professional purposes and are coached according to the needs of their position or as a 'refresher' of the language subjects they have learned at school. I only teach at my home address in Antwerp and NOT via webcam!

I specialize in teaching Arabic and Darija to foreign speakers. My goal is to challenge but not to overwhelm the student. I give homework after every lesson and give periodic progress reports. I also teach my students how to speak classical Arabic or Moroccan Darija in a few months. I only come to your home for groups of 3 or more people in Antwerp, since I live in Antwerp myself. And for 1 or 2 people, the lessons with me take place in our Study Room. The prices for the group rates are not online. Until then! :)

In my classes of English, Spanish or Dutch you will be talking immediately thanks to the specific pedagogy I use. I put you into your learning objective context and explain grammar 'by experience', using role plays, synonyms and explanations in the target language. Moreover, you will be using vocabulary straight away and progress significantly in this way. Specific technical language such as medical, biological, business or other language are possible too and will be agreed upon while we do the intake needs analysis by phone.

During our first lesson we will discuss your goals and level and I will tailor a lesson for you. I like to structure my classes according to topics based on everyday life situations (how you introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, go shopping, go to the doctor, professional language, etc.). We will go through the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. If you are an average person, we will also give some lessons on reading comprehension + speaking. As a former primary school teacher and experienced Dutch teacher for adults and children, I enjoy helping others achieve their language goals. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue.
