In the first months we concentrate on the development of the musical ear, creative imagination, concentration and attitude. For the posture I work with a unique family method (experience of three generations of pianists with excellent results). The pianistic development is further combined with solfège. After 1 year, the child can read scores, and always with pleasure! Adult amateurs I give tailor-made lessons. Together with you we determine your level and set the goals. In the lessons, much attention is paid to the technical aspects of piano playing. I will give you exact instructions for studying independently at home, also fully customized. You will get the best practices proven by my 27 years of experience with the piano. After 2 years, the beginners can count on an enormous repertoire, good knowledge of solfège and a lot of self-confidence. Adult amateurs who graduated from the music academy in the past can count on evaluation to a semi-professional level after 2 years.

I have been a cellist for years and gained a lot of experience over the years. I am a replacement for the Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Belgium and the Symphony Orchestra of Flanders. I am also a regular cellist in various projectors and I play in St.Grandson, a band that won the new generation last year. By building this experience, I now feel strong enough to teach people. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
