Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate. Thus, I give significant emphasis to these topics in my sessions, especially those aimed at playing polyrhythmic instruments such as the piano. I cover compositional tools, approaching Jazz Standards, accompaniment techniques, improvisation methods for any instrument, Blues tools, methods to strengthen the relationship with the instrument, analysis, and listening skills. I also teach classical piano for those interested, and offer specific training in rhythm and percussion. I am fully committed to my students. It is clear that learning music requires discipline and work, but can be interesting and expandable. The flexibility lies in the main features of my classes: My goal for my graduates is that they need a digital method that they have to adapt to their personal attitude and style. The offer of classes for individuals and private groups of all students and the duration of the course are also flexible and depend on the training of the student (most of the little ones that Suelen was able to aprovechar in the last media lessons). Classes can be in Spanish, English, Dutch or Greek. Cheslava did not waste a moment of time and found her rhythm with my son very quickly. There was an amazing sense of grace and patience in her tone, yet there was a firm bit of direction that moved the lesson in a clear direction. As a particular detail, I very much appreciated the moments that she asked my son about his experience throughout, and encouraged him to describe every degree of his challenges which I believe teaches him to go beyond the impact of his feelings but to technically observe weaknesses to improve them. It was a sincere honor and privilege to receive her lesson and we will certainly be looking forward to being taught by her again. 👑

Robinson has been working with my 13 yr old daughter since the summer and I cannot recommend him enough. He is an amazing pianist, and so patient and kind and super professional. We are so grateful to have met him. Just a few weeks ago we needed a recording and at the last minute we informed Robinson and he made the time to fit my daughter in, and we just received the news today that she got first prize in America without Robinson this would not have been possible.
