Learn The Craft Of Electronic Music Production - Beginner To Advanced (Ableton)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I am currently preparing to teach a masterclass at my school that will cover advanced mixing, mastering and sound design. I work in Ableton and I have made or engineered everything from industrial techno to dubstep, acid rock to pop. As such, I am extremely flexible and can focus exclusively on what you are aiming to learn, regardless of what genre or subgenre you want to make. My approach is dynamic and changes depending on every student, but my aim is the same across all levels and types: to get you to love music production. For the beginners: -How to start your track -How to make more than just loops -Sampling -Sound synthesis -Basic beat creation -Mixing -Use of effects -Plugins -Marketing -Mastering For the intermediate to advanced students: -Multiband mixing tools -Advanced Mastering -Using sends as mixing tools -Advanced sound synthesis -Advanced social media marketing More about me: I have worked in the music production field for the last 10 years. I have a recording engineering certificate from UCLA in California. I have scored two award winning short films, and am currently signed to Subsoul Recordings. My personal tracks have reached around 300,000 plays. I currently manage a deep house producer signed to Crosswalk Records.

Electronic Music Production | Ableton | Beginner to Advanced | English/FrenchTranslate this text using Google Translate.

This class is for all music enthusiasts, whether you’re just getting started and need a solid foundation or already experienced and looking to level up. I'm a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, and the founder of DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organise events. My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance. This means we can absolutely work on different musical genres or more unconventional, creative approaches. Passionate about dancefloor energy, it’s behind the decks and my machines that I feel most alive — and I truly love passing that on. I perform regularly in Berlin in clubs such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Hoppetosse, RSO, Golden Gate, etc., as well as abroad, most recently in Belgrade, London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc. Having worked in an artist management agency (Talent Scoot), I bring an added layer to the sessions — connecting technical skills with artistic vision, and helping you shape and push your artistic project forward ---- Sessions usually last 2 hours, and can take place face-to-face or online, solo or in a group. . Group sessions (1-3) are friendly, less expensive, more dynamic in terms of learning and interesting because you get to observe another student correcting TPs or or discussing techniques, which leads to valuable insights. . In 1-1 if you're more comfortable solo, and for more effective learning focused on you and your pace. I'll give you the keys to : - Get to grips with Ableton Live and set up an efficient workflow - Understand sound structure and audio manipulation - Compose your own tracks and develop your artistic identity - Explore different types of synthesis and sound design - Master the use of effects and audio processing - Structure, arrange, and bring your ideas to life - Learn mixing techniques and how to properly export your projects - If you're already experienced, dive into advanced production techniques to refine your craft I'll also accompany you and advise you on the purchase of your equipment/plugins/tools. Classes take place either in my studio in Kreuzberg, equipped with 2 CDJs, 2 vinyl decks, workstation, synths, drum machines and controllers or online with screen sharing with dynamic practice, TPs and follow up. They are a mix of theory and practice, and we also cover the values and precepts of this art form, giving you lots of pro tips and tricks, as well as creative goodies (VSTs, effects, personal racks) Don't hesitate to contact me for more information, I can send you a detailed document explaining all aspects of the training, the techniques covered, as well as the essential theoretical knowledge. You'll develop a complete understanding of the material, learn how to tell your musical story, create, record, finish, export and share your work. I am looking forward to playing music with you. Piano Lessons by Award Winning Film Music ComposerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am an Award Winning Film Music Composer of Short and Feature Length films with distribution on platforms such as Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Sky as well as official selection in over 40 International and Academy Award Qualifying Film Festivals, including Cannes, Hell’s Half Mile (Michigan, US), Los Angeles International Shorts, FilmQuest and Urbanworld (New York, US). My soundtracks are distributed on all major streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc) and feature scores composed for electronics, Full Orchestra, small ensembles and genres like 20th Century Orchestral, Minimalism, Motown, Avant Garde, Musique Concrete and many more. As your piano tutor, I want to teach you how I learnt piano, and show you how to be creative with music, at the very least for enjoyment, but also for any professional aspirations into composition. I start by familiarising my students with the fundamentals of music at the piano, how the piano is structured, arpeggios, baselines, chord sequences, melody sequences, etc. We take these fundamentals and build sophistication of musicality with a dynamic curriculum. Lessons are structured by familiarising with musical concepts by a demonstration, playing together, and playing solo in a way that aims to be accessible and sensitive to the student’s sensibilities.

Classical Piano, Music Theory and Composition with a Professional MusicianTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I offer piano lessons that focus on the joy of music, learning the right technique and a psychologically constructive experience. I prefer to create an individual program for the student according to his wishes and goals. Overall, I aim to create a positive and calm environment for my students while teaching this complex and beautiful instrument. I also offer lessons in music theory: preparation for music schools, general knowledge and understanding of music theory, or a deeper understanding of it - if the student wishes to go further. Music theory can consist of harmony, counterpoint, analysis of desired works, chords, intervals, ear training... For those interested, I also offer the electronic tool Logic Pro, as I have been composing electronic music using this program for the last 5 years of my training. We can combine this aspect with music composition or focus on technical elements. My goal is to create a considerate and respectful space where making music becomes a happy experience. I like to teach in German, English and Turkish. I hope to hear from you and meet you soon! ----------- I offer piano lessons; with the focus of enjoying the music, learning proper techniques, and having a psychologically uplifting experience. Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / TheoryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / TheoryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. The general theoretical objectives of the course: --- Tuning / tuning and knowing his guitar: * Standard Tuning * Drop Tuning * Open Tuning * Adjust the optimal tension of the strings * Adjust the shaft axis * Adjust the action of the strings * Choose the strings adapted to the style of play / tuning * Change his strings -Know his chords: * Triads: Fundamental State & Inversions * Tetrads: Fundamental State & Inversions * The chord progressions of the Range * Arpeggio techniques (tapping, sweep, 1/2/4 fing.shape, etc ...) --- Know his scales and his modes * The Mode of the Major scale * 3 Modes of the Minor scale: Natural / Melodic / Harmonic * Modes of the Pentatonic range: 5 positions * Modes of the Blues range: 5 positions Etc ... --- Technique to the Pick / Plectrum / Tab / Pick (Electric Guitar): * Alternate Picking * Fast Picking / Tremolo Picking * Hybrid Picking * Palm Mute * Natural Harmonics * Pinch Harmonics * Artificial Harmonics * Shredding * Tapping * Sweep Picking * Legato Picking --- Strumming / Hand Picking (Acoustic Guitar) * "SnareDrum" percussion on the guitar * Arpeggios pinched with 4 fingers + thumb * Rasgueado (Flamenco Technique) * Generic Strumming * Fingerstyle Picking * Two-finger picking + Legato for fast melodies (eg a solo) -Play the metronome * exercises on click * practice on song riffs -Learn his favorite songs * without thinking about the difficulty, nothing is impossible with the right methodology -Improvise * choose ranges and positions * to place oneself rhythmically, to finish on the judicious notes -Theory of Harmony * Understand harmonization and its practice -Theory on the Melody -Theory of Rhythm

“ Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more. ”

“ A well-prepared, humble teacher who will provide as many resources and much insights from a wide range of aspects as possible. Tailor-made materials suit the student's need, be it compositional or analytical or any aspects else. ”

“ The teacher was warm, attentive, and very clear in her explanations. She quickly identified areas I could improve and gave me practical tips to work on. Highly recommended! ”
