Hi! I'm a full-time professional trumpeter offering personalized trumpet and/or improvisation lessons focused on developing confidence, creativity, and a clear practice strategy. I hold a Master's degree in Jazz Trumpet and a Master's degree in Education, combining high-level artistic training with a deep understanding of how people learn. My goal is not only to help you play better but to teach you how to practice effectively, so you continue making progress long after each lesson. I perform weekly across a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, pop, funk, rock, soul, reggae, and african music. In addition, I'm bandmember of Lucid Lucia, Hnita Bigband, Nana Osei, Nuff Said, Jazbyssinia and The Very Bigband. Throughout my career, I've shared the stage with renowned artists including John Clayton, Joe Bowie (Defunkt), Chris Potter, Bert Joris, Jef Neve, Gregory Hutchinson, Frank Vaganée, Zap Mama, Manou Gallo, Amir Sulaiman, K.ZIA, Selah Sue, and many others.
