I am a fully qualified primary school teacher based in Falkirk with over 15 years of experience particularly in the upper primary level. If your child needs additional input in English or Maths to help them reinforce their classroom learning or if they are looking to extend themselves to work at Third Level in preparation for High School or Entrance Exams, then I am here to help. After our initial ‘get to know you’ session, I will build a program of learning that will support your child in all identified areas, helping them to feel more confident with concepts or skills they have found tricky to master as well as challenge them to reach their full potential moving towards higher level learning. My goal is to create supportive and engaging session where students feel motivated to explore, make mistakes in a safe environment and ultimately, experience success, helping to boost their confidence in any classroom or examination setting. Mathematics is often seen as a problem area for many students and their ‘tricky’ subject. With every student that identifies this as an area for development, my focus is on building a strong foundation in maths reinforcing key concepts, using key problem-solving strategies as well as developing critical thinking skills. Through the use of real-world, tangible examples, I will help students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and how they can be applied in their own lives. This work will be followed up with targeted areas for further practice, consolidation and/or additional challenge. During my writing sessions, I will guide students in developing their practical writing skills, i.e. grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and organisation of points/plot. Whilst encouraging creativity throughout, I will ensure there are multiple opportunities for students to express themselves through various writing genres. We will also work on editing and reviewing with feedback sessions built in to help consolidate the techniques introduced. I strongly believe that reading is the key to unlocking a whole world of knowledge and imagination. In my reading sessions, I will focus on developing essential skills such as phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocab. Through a variety of activities, including reading aloud, guided reading, discussion and analysis, I will help students improve their reading abilities, expand their literary horizons, and hopefully, foster a lifelong love for books. I look forward to working with you.

Editing video can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it. But however complex you want the final product to be, you will find the process far more enjoyable if you take a few moments to prepare from the very beginning, preferably before you even start to record any footage. Conclusion. Video editing is important because it is the key to blending images and sounds to make us feel emotionally connected and sometimes truly there in the film we're watching. It's a safe assumption to say that video editing is among the most important jobs in the film industry.

ENGLISH BELOW I'm happy to help you get started with writing and/or improve your skills! Whether you're looking for a coach to guide you in and give you feedback on blogs, columns, short stories, fiction or non-fiction - I'm happy to throw myself into it. I myself am mainly active as a writer of theatre texts, but I also have experience with writing song lyrics, literary translations, essays etc.. I approach all texts from a creative perspective and artistic vision. As a theatre author I am also concerned with how a text sounds - if it does not sound pleasant, it can certainly be written better. As a coach, I focus primarily on giving feedback on the texts you write and I am happy to help you get started with assignments to start writing and/or to shake off the dreaded writer's block. If you prefer to focus more on theory around writing, I am of course happy to help you with that too. /// As a writer (mainly playwriting, but also songs, columns, literary translations and essays) I'm very interested in helping you either to start writing, or to better your writing. We'll work mostly by practicing and discussing your work. If you prefer to zoom in on theorists, I'm happy to guide you in that as well. I'm a professional playwriter and dramaturg (and studied at LUCA School of Arts with Nico Boon, Freek Mariën and Nathan Vecht). I previously taught playwriting in different groups (CREA, Buitenkunst) and work as a script advisor for professional theater makers. Besides that, I often help people in writing resumes, papers and thesis papers.

I offer creative writing sessions for teenagers and adults, suitable for complete beginners as well as writers who already have written work (short stories, scripts, monologues, poems, etc.) and would like feedback, structure and discussion. These sessions focus on storytelling and the creative process, using writing exercises, prompts and conversation to help develop ideas into characters, worlds and scenes, with the option to edit or rewrite existing texts. My approach is practical and flexible, focused on helping each writer find their own voice rather than following rigid formulas. I have a postgraduate degree in Storytelling and have published a book, as well as essays in magazines and newspapers, and continue to work on scriptwriting projects. Alongside writing, I work as an actress, which strongly informs my approach to character, voice and dialogue. Sessions are available in English or Portuguese, online or in person in Lisbon, in a café or similar relaxed space, and are always adapted to each student’s level and interests.
