Trusted teacher: Just done your mock exams? Are you ready to pull your grades all the way up? Or maybe looking to secure your 'safe' grade? Look no further. As a full time Data Lead and Exams Officer at Conisborough College, I have a unique view of performance metrics, and the latest knowledge on GCSE exams. With a specialism in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, my style of teaching is an expression of my experiences as a student and a tutor. My past tutoring experiences range from teaching secondary school classrooms and a lot of work with 1-on-1's. While I have had State Schooling my successful early experiences with exams (SATS, GCSEs) set me up with a solid foundation and ideal to approach exams by myself and eventually find my area of expertise in everything Maths and Physics. When it comes to exam preparation, my strategy is always textbook oriented. My principle in education has always been to know what I don't know and then deal with my not-knowing of that chapter/area. I like to use what is known/understood as a warm up and get creative with it, probing the student's baselines and tactics. The warm up also gives you the winning-feeling about the subject and this is a feeling that grows and brings clarity such that it guides me year in, year out to go and understand every chapter to answer every topical exam question, and it can for you too. I offer in person, and online teaching and am willing to provide references on demand, but first let's have a video call to discuss your needs further! Do you speak French? Have you just passed your practice exams? Are you ready to boost your grades? Or perhaps you're just looking to secure your "safe" grade? Look no further. As Data Lead and Exams Manager at Conisborough College, I have unique insight into performance metrics and the latest developments in GCSE exams. Specializing in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, my teaching approach reflects my experiences as a student and tutor. I have extensive teaching experience, both in classrooms in secondary schools and in individual tutoring sessions. Although I received a state education, my successful experiences with exams (SATS, GCSEs) gave me a solid foundation and an ideal method for approaching exams independently. This is how I was able to specialize in Mathematics and Physics. When it comes to exam preparation, my strategy always relies on textbooks. My learning principle is simple: identify what I don't know, then address those gaps. I like to start with what is already known and understood, using it as a warm-up. This allows me to assess the student's level and strategies, while making learning more dynamic and creative. This warm-up also gives you a sense of achievement, which strengthens over time and provides essential clarity. It's this approach that has allowed me, year after year, to assimilate each chapter and be able to answer each exam question. It can do the same for you. I offer in-person and online classes and can provide references upon request. But first, let's discuss your needs over a video call!

Trusted teacher: As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

Trusted teacher: My method: Logic before calculation In the final year of high school, the difficulty is often not the calculation itself, but understanding the problem statement and choosing the correct theorem. My support focuses on three key areas: Analysis: Perfect mastery of sequences, functions (logarithms, exponentials) and continuity. Geometry in space: Visualization and vector calculation. Probability: Understanding the laws and knowing when to apply them. We will delve particularly into the 4 Pillars of Success in the Baccalaureate (Final Year Program) For each session, we will work on the priority themes of the French curriculum: Analysis & Algebra: Mastery of functions (Exponentials, Logarithms), limits, and integral calculus. Particular focus is placed on numerical sequences and proof by induction. Geometry in Space: Learning to "see" in 3 dimensions and mastering parametric representations and the dot product. Probability & Statistics: Understanding binomial distributions and density to avoid interpretation errors. Specialty "Expert Maths" (Optional): For those aiming for preparatory classes, we delve deeper into complex numbers, arithmetic and matrices. Session content: Demonstration techniques: Knowing how to write a recurrence or a proof by contradiction without losing points for rigor. Automation: Calculation of complex derivatives, antiderivatives and limits to gain speed on the day. Analysis of typical Baccalaureate exam topics: We break down the topics that came up in 2024 and 2025 to anticipate the expectations of examiners in June 2026. For who ? First-year students: To consolidate the basics before the decisive year. Final year students (Maths specialization): Intensive preparation for written exams. Complementary / Expert Maths: Advanced training for future Parcoursup applications (CPGE, Engineering Schools). 🛠️ Tools for online courses Shared Word document: You can see me writing the live demonstrations, and you can write in turn. Paper correction: You send me your homework assignments done in class, we analyze your mistakes together so that you don't repeat them.
