Trusted teacher: Dance belongs to EVERYBODY My proposition is under the name of Performing art, like life. The proposition contains different exercises and tasks that varies between structured and improvised: Individual Improvisation : the improvisation aims to let the space for the dancers to develop their way of moving, to develop their understanding of their bodies related to the notion of space and time. The task would focus on the interaction with the music that they chose at first. This last would create an atmosphere that they relate to and a music that they feel connected to in order to drive them slowly in connecting their bodies and rythme. The improvisation task would play throughout variety of notions : music / silence / speaking / construction of time / construction of space. Technical: variety of technical bases of contemporary dance would be introduced. The use of the body/ choreography/ the use of the space/ the use of surroundings/ using objects / contact improvisation. Duet improvisation : This task is based on how the individual could relate to other body. The aim is that someone improvises while the other watches which brings a close connection to each one another as a group and start to see dancing and moving in details and closely. The second step is repeating what they saw or repeat simultaneously. This could be a good tool to try to work on memory and how they perceive the movements. (The repetition could be not identical to the previous version but at least it could take some items as rythm way of use of the body time and space together) Yoga The group improvisation: this improvisation would need a group of people together in which the task Would be OPEN for any suggestions.

Trusted teacher: GOAL: BECOMING RESISTANT TO PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL STRESS. SELFEFENSE FOR BODY,MIND & SOUL Eastern martial arts are known as the most holistic disciplines in which balance in body, mind and soul are inextricably linked. Everything that puts us out of balance is what we call STRESS. And this can be physical, mental or emotional. Using Eastern martial arts including kung fu, tai chi, Chinese wrestling, I teach or coach skills that can strengthen your resilience against stress. These skills are: BE WATER (adaptability) - BREATHING- POSTURE/ATTITUDE - ROOTING - FOCUS - RELAX/RELEASE - FIGHTING SPIRIT - BODY/MIND CONDITIONING - OPEN EMPTY SOUL - SELF-CONTROLL What you do physically, you also do mentally. "A concrete example. If you are attacked physically and you fight back hard, there is a good chance that you will both sustain a lot of damage. As you try to adapt and avoid that attack, there's a better chance that a fight won't even happen. Now, how often does it happen when people are being scolded and reproached, that they start scolding back loudly, causing a fierce argument with both of them in sorrow. While if you don't respond to the insult, the argument can be avoided." "A second example: If you show yourself to be steadfast in your positions, so that it is difficult for you to be pushed out of balance, you will also become mentally steadfast, so that you will not easily allow yourself to be hurt emotionally." To find balance, you must of course work on both yin and yang. Too soft is not good, too hard is not good either, but we need both to find that balance. FOR WHOM? CHILDREN with low self-confidence who are often victims of bullying. CHILDREN who are too aggressive or have difficulty controlling their energy ADULTS who still go through life with low self-confidence, or suffer from all kinds of fears, stress, etc. ADULTS who like depth, mindfulness, self-awareness or want to get out of their comfort zone. ADULTS who love martial arts but cannot get into the clubs due to their lifestyle. WOMEN. I say this specifically, because martial arts are often a man's world, but women also benefit enormously from this. EVERYONE who suffers from all kinds of stress and who is blocked somewhere in life. I work both personally and in small groups, so you can share costs. I work by appointment, flexibly. I am asking for a mileage allowance.

Trusted teacher: This is an 8-session program aimed at the school ‘transition’ years of ages 12-19. The group sessions are facilitated following a broader Personal, Health, Social, and Economic Education (PSHE) curriculum focusing on gathering teens' needs, making them objects of reflection while leveraging neuroscience information and a playful approach. The program can also well serve as a taster for teachers/parents in separate sessions or workshops. In particular, Teen's Time explores issues around: - Working with concentration and focus; exploring how we can work with a wandering mind. - Identifying emotions, how they work, and interact with thoughts and body sensations. - Why humans worry, and how to support ourselves when we do so. - Sleep: why it is important and what to do if we struggle to sleep well. - Being with others: the opportunities and challenges of working skillfully with friendships and other relationships, Each session includes: - Learning about key areas of the brain and how they support us in our everyday activities - Some introductory breathing practices - Reflections - Animations, short video - Discussions - Role play's and enactment's - Exercises they can try in their own time Teen's Time is inspired and informed by the several children-oriented programs of the Mindfulness in School Program (MisP) organization. The feedback from children who have previously taken part in these programs is very positive. They report enjoying the group sessions and especially sharing their emotions with the other participants. They find learning and neuroscience helping them in a broad range of situations from being able to concentrate and focus more easily in school to helping them feel calmer in exams and competitions. Many have described sharing the learning with other family members and finding it helps them with their relationships with family and friends. Teen's Time Starts: on Monday, February 28 - Introductory session - Time: from 16:00 to 17:00 hr
