Student in the first year of Master Meef, English teacher, I offer English courses for high school / high school levels.

I did a year of assistantship in England where I could also give French lessons on a regular basis. I have always been in contact with students, whether for English or French. I attended an English teacher for two years thanks to the EAP device and I followed a first year of Master Meef allowing me to do a training course in a class of first. I have therefore acquired many methods that will benefit the support courses that I propose here.

My classes will be in the language of learning as often as possible. Grammar points will, in turn, be explained in the original language to fully understand the functioning of the language. I always promote oral writing so that the student learns to trust and practice as much as possible. We will work, however, on all areas (written, oral, understanding ..).

About Me
Patient and determined student offering support classes.

I am a student in meef Master (Teaching, Education and Training) English. I did a year of assistantship in England where I gave many courses of French (foreign language). I also gave some English lessons and I participated in EAP for two years in which I attended an English teacher. I took charge of groups of students on a regular basis and a first class during my 1st year Master's internship.

I promote oral expression in writing but we will obviously work on all areas. The explanations are of course done in French for a better understanding, but I would speak English (or French if French is your language of learning) as often as possible (through dialogues, exercises, etc ...).

I am patient and determined, I am used to being surrounded by children / teens, so I would know how to talk to them and approach things to address.
Education
I have an English LLCE License. I did a first year of Master MEEF English (university). Before starting this new year, I went to England for a year to improve and gain experience.
Experience / Qualifications
I gave some English lessons to a 3rd year student (14 years old).
My year as EAP and my years as a student dedicated to teaching have given me experience and tools essential to teaching.
During my year of assistantship, I took charge of small groups of students to give them support classes. I gave private lessons to a first-level student on a weekly basis.

Mateo
My name is Mateo Wilde Maldonado, a second-year student at Sciences Po Paris, on the Poitiers campus, specializing in Politics and Government with a focus on Latin America. Originally from Bolivia, I have a bicultural academic background, having obtained both the French and Bolivian baccalaureate at the Lycée Français de La Paz. This dual education has allowed me to develop a solid command of languages and intercultural skills.

Language skills :
Spanish: Mother tongue.
French: Level C2. Language of schooling since my childhood and main language of my current studies.
English: Level C1. Solid academic and professional skills.
Portuguese: Level B1. Currently improving, with good understanding and ability to interact orally and in writing.
Academic background :
My career path is marked by a multidisciplinary approach which includes in-depth studies in:

History: Analysis of major social and political transformations from a global perspective.
Political Science: Comparative studies of political systems and international governance.
Law: Law courses taken in my final year and during my first year at Sciences Po, with a particular interest in constitutional and international law.
Public speaking: Training in public speaking, essential in my curriculum to develop argumentative and teaching skills.
Languages: Advanced mastery and teaching of Spanish, English and French, adapted to different levels.
Experience and motivation:
Building on my experience in a multicultural and multilingual environment, I developed a passion for language teaching as a vehicle for cultural transmission and communication. At Sciences Po, I had the opportunity to engage in collaborative and intercultural work that strengthened my ability to adapt to different audiences and contexts.

I want to use my linguistic and pedagogical skills to teach languages and support learners in their journey, whether acquiring the basics or improving their skills. My experience as a student in a demanding academic environment has also taught me to be rigorous, organized, and empathetic—qualities I consider essential in teaching.

Availability:
I am available for part-time or ad hoc classes, in person or remotely, depending on your needs. My student schedule allows me the flexibility to adapt to your requested schedule.

I would be honored to contribute to the linguistic success of your learners while sharing my passion for languages and cultural diversity.

Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to discussing my application further.
