I am an English Teacher, I got a license degree in Linguistics in English, as well as a master's degree in Literature and Civilization of Anglo-Saxon. Right now, I am a PhD student in education science at a university in Portugal. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
