My teenage daughter studied English with Amalia, and I can give only very positive recommendations. Amalia was always very helpful, dedicated and patient. She coached my daughter before each school test to get her better prepared. I could see that my daughter welcomes each lesson, which is totally a credit to Amalia's teaching style. Amazingly, Amalia was giving me as a parent a feedback after each lesson on how it went, what they were focusing on and how my daughter was prepared for that. We are expats that moved to the Netherlands a couple of years ago. Our kids were 6 and 9 when we got in touch with Hetty at the beginning of this year. Hetty worked amazingly at their level and using their interests to build up their confidence in speaking Dutch. I have seen a tremendous improvement in their Dutch within 4-5 months. I would happily recommend Hetty to students with even just a basic knowledge of the language. Had we not moved cities, I would’ve used her services to improve my own language ability!

Very friendly and patient teacher. She explains very well and also tells about Japanese culture. During the lesson we write everything down together so that you can always look back at the things you have learnt. She also does a great job at using material from previous lessons so you don't forget and also get a good feeling of progression. The lessons also have a lot of variety and are very interactive. Most important of all though is that the lessons themselves are very fun! Definitely recommend!
