Piano Lessons for Music Lovers and Time-Starved ProfessionalsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello there! Do you wish to learn to play the piano but do not have several hours every day to dedicate to practicing? I can help! With 15 years of teaching experience, I’ve honed my methods to facilitate rapid progress and maximize efficiency. My students achieve in months, what usually takes years when following a conventional music school program. Nonetheless, I am not taking any shortcuts. On the contrary, one of the reasons why my students progress so fast is my insistence on building solid fundamentals. I strive for my students to master the necessary tools for them to then achieve their own personal ambitions. Having observed the practice routines of professionals and university students worldwide, I've realized that there's often much time to be gained during practice. Realizing everyone's personnality, approach, affinities and tastes are different, I prioritize a personalized approach tailored to your individual learning style. Together, we'll make the most of our sessions, whether you're a beginner diving into music or an intermediate player seeking to enhance your skills. And guess what? You won't need to practice for hours on end to see significant improvement. With regular lessons, even just 15 minutes of practice three times a week can lead to enormous progress. As I often say, the learning process is more akin to a marathon than a sprint. While efficiency is important, I believe that learning should be fun and inspiring. In my lessons, you can expect a supportive and encouraging environment. I'll be there with you every step of the way, celebrating your achievements and helping you overcome any challenges that arise. Together, we'll create a positive and empowering learning experience. Ready to embark on your fast and efficient piano learning journey? Guitar and music lessons (Guitar, Theory, Composition, Ear training, Improvisation, and more)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello all, I am Rotem (26), I am guitarist, composer, and music theorist. I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Artistic Research department at the Kunstuniversität Graz and Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) under the supervision of Isabel Mundry and Deniz Peters. I have a master's degree in composition from Zurich University of the Arts, where I studied with Isabel Mundry and Burkhard Kinzler and focused on composition, historical temperaments, and counterpoint. I studied my bachelor’s in jazz guitar performance at the New England Conservatory, where I studied guitar with Joe Morris and composition with Stratis Minakakis (2023). Prior to that, I completed a diploma program at The Center for Jazz Studies in Tel Aviv, in partnership with The New School in New York (2021). I have been performing, touring and teaching around the world: New York, Washington DC, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, and more! I have grown up with education both in jazz and classical practices, and therefore am very versatile and fluent with both worlds which i believe creates a unique and interesting perspective for approaching music. In our lessons, we could focus on anything you'd like to: guitar, music theory, composition, ear training, electronic music, improvisation (jazz and free improvisation), rhythm, and many more. If you're currently preparing for auditions, exams, or just feel like picking up an instrument or learn about music, feel more than welcome to get in touch! The lessons can take place either in my house in the 15th district or your place. Looking forward to hearing from you and get to know you, and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions :)

Guitar Classes with the option of performing in concerts (Children & Adults)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Guitar Classes with the option of performing in concerts (Children & Adults)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Guitar Classes (classical with nylon strings ; acoustic with steel strings ; and/or electric) in Vienna or online in various languages (ENG/GER/FRA/ESP) Pedagogue with more than 10 years of experience in scholar and extracurricular contexts is offering his expertise as a guitar teacher for new interested students of all ages. Classes are held in person in Vienna's 3rd district, and can be of course prolonged into the school year. My class is based on various but well structured classical methods, however Pop and modern music remains an important aspect of the learning process, so the various wishes and aspects of guitar playing can be achieved by beginners and advanced students. A vast well catered repertoire and personalized arrangements will be provided for each student individually. Many groups projects with guitars as well as other music instruments were very successfully realized over the years, and many of my students have also succeeded in competitions and important (solo) performances. Prep classes for competitions as well as entrance exams at music institutions are also very possible! Every year there are two student concerts in a beautiful concert hall in the 3rd district (December and June)

Play your favorite songs straight away, write your own songs and record them (git or keys)Translate this text using Google Translate.

LEARNING BY HEART Learn to play/sing favorite songs: - Depending on your ability, we simplify (or enrich) the accompaniment and improve it in a fluid manner - I'll show you various "hacks" and shortcuts - you don't have to do anything "right", you can follow the fun. - play/practice without pressure, how does that work...? You can make it easier for yourself! How much time you invest stays with you. :-) - any style possible, as long as it makes sense for you technically - Singing: easy! Write your own songs: - I give you different "glasses", "rails" through which you come up with new ideas, both for the music as well as the lyrics and singing - "writers block" - from the head back to the heart using simple techniques - learn to use the hidden treasure trove of ideas in your body (subconscious)! - and most importantly: have fun with “bad” songs! generally: - you will find clear goals for each hour (e.g. record a song or parts of it,...), for the next few weeks and for the next months - we record as much as possible because it is the best exercise (and the most exciting ;-) and you have something "in your hands" that is satisfying in itself, no matter how "perfect" it is (everything is perfect How clean is up to you ;-). - I'll help you promote the joy of sharing your music ("I can give something!") - and above all: learn to feel what really makes you happy. It's important to me that you feel safe with me and have fun, no matter how things are going. I'm happy if you dare, it can only get better! :-)

Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / TheoryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Guitar / Bass / Ukulele / TheoryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. The general theoretical objectives of the course: --- Tuning / tuning and knowing his guitar: * Standard Tuning * Drop Tuning * Open Tuning * Adjust the optimal tension of the strings * Adjust the shaft axis * Adjust the action of the strings * Choose the strings adapted to the style of play / tuning * Change his strings -Know his chords: * Triads: Fundamental State & Inversions * Tetrads: Fundamental State & Inversions * The chord progressions of the Range * Arpeggio techniques (tapping, sweep, 1/2/4 fing.shape, etc ...) --- Know his scales and his modes * The Mode of the Major scale * 3 Modes of the Minor scale: Natural / Melodic / Harmonic * Modes of the Pentatonic range: 5 positions * Modes of the Blues range: 5 positions Etc ... --- Technique to the Pick / Plectrum / Tab / Pick (Electric Guitar): * Alternate Picking * Fast Picking / Tremolo Picking * Hybrid Picking * Palm Mute * Natural Harmonics * Pinch Harmonics * Artificial Harmonics * Shredding * Tapping * Sweep Picking * Legato Picking --- Strumming / Hand Picking (Acoustic Guitar) * "SnareDrum" percussion on the guitar * Arpeggios pinched with 4 fingers + thumb * Rasgueado (Flamenco Technique) * Generic Strumming * Fingerstyle Picking * Two-finger picking + Legato for fast melodies (eg a solo) -Play the metronome * exercises on click * practice on song riffs -Learn his favorite songs * without thinking about the difficulty, nothing is impossible with the right methodology -Improvise * choose ranges and positions * to place oneself rhythmically, to finish on the judicious notes -Theory of Harmony * Understand harmonization and its practice -Theory on the Melody -Theory of Rhythm

Hello! I've been teaching nonstop for over 10 years, and I'd love to tell you what a class with me offers: 100% personalized approach: The first step is to define your goals. Learning for pleasure? Preparing for entrance exams? Or taking the professional leap? I'll adapt the methodology, curriculum, and even the repertoire to your goals. Dynamic environment (without losing rigor): Relaxed but demanding classes, where practical methods (and my irremediable sense of humor) prevail. Hearing + Musicality + Analysis: We'll work on listening, understanding, and analyzing your musical references. The goal: for you to make artistic decisions with confidence and feel music as your own. No stylistic biases: For me, all music is valid. We'll explore everything from classical to electronic, using each style to work on key aspects: melody, harmony, production... We'll even explore genres you're unfamiliar with together! Important! I balance classes with concerts and projects. Although you're my priority, I appreciate the occasional flexibility to reschedule (only when strictly necessary). If you like this approach, write to me! Learning music is an exciting journey, and I'd love to be your guide.

Professional Bassist with 19 Years of Experience In Various Styles (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more!)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more). I have completed 3 years of intensive bass study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and am currently playing bass plus backing-vocals and song arrangement for Kids of the Elephant and Arrubio. In these lessons, I will help you reach your goals while having fun in the process, keeping the lessons structured and tailored to your personal needs. I have 5 years of experience helping students improve as well as specialist knowledge in a multitude of styles. Some examples of what you might learn include: - Correct hand positioning & posture for best performance and faster learning. - Learning your favorite songs quickly and easily. - Breaking down rhythms & dynamics - Understanding the role of bass playing in a band. - Understanding what makes a good bassline and composing your own. - Essential music theory for bass & more advanced techniques (eg: melodic techniques, rhythmic, slap bass, etc) - How to improvise, jam and play with other musicians. Appropriate homework/exercises and recordings are provided during lessons. I also like to give advice and direction for people with musical aspirations. I'm also an empathetic person that loves teaching, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

Guitarist, composer, qualified teacher, professor for 11 years: classical guitar, electric guitar, arrangement, compositionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Would you like to start playing guitar, pick it up again after a break, or overcome a challenge? Do you have a song in mind, a solo that's giving you trouble, or simply the desire to discover unexpected things? Do you want to create your own music, lead a specific project, or express yourself on social media? I offer individual online lessons, tailored to your level, your tastes and the time you have available. 🎵 My journey I am a guitarist and composer, holding two master's degrees obtained at the IMEP in Namur in classical guitar and classical writing. I have been teaching for 11 years to children, teenagers and adults, in academies, non-profit organizations, private lessons, online and in higher education. These experiences have taught me to adapt my explanations to very different profiles, from the first contact with the instrument to higher musical studies. I enjoy performing classical music as much as playing a rock riff or transforming a film theme into a guitar arrangement. This curiosity runs through my career and my teaching: I love discovering my students' musical world and helping them bring it to life. My stage experience ranges from rock bands to solo classical guitar, trios, and quartets. I compose for various ensembles and create numerous arrangements of film scores, video game soundtracks, and songs. One of my pieces was notably performed by the IMEP Grand Choir. This dual experience as a guitarist and composer informs my teaching: I enjoy explaining what lies behind the notes, understanding the technical challenges, and illuminating choices in harmony, structure, and interpretation, with accessible guidelines for every level. My curiosity for film, literature, computer science, and Japanese culture also enriches the projects I develop with my students. 🎼 Support that starts with you Are you a beginner? We'll gradually build the foundations through pieces that will inspire you to play. Do you already have some experience? We can refine your technique, improve your interpretation, or understand what's hindering your progress. Is a chord change not flowing smoothly? Is a fast passage proving difficult despite repetition? We take the time to understand what the problem is. I regularly create customized exercises directly related to the difficulties my students encounter. We also work on sound, rhythm, nuances and phrasing: everything that brings a performance to life. The goal is for you to know what to work on, how to do it, and why, even between lessons. I also help you organize your practice to progress with realistic goals and maintain the joy of playing. 🎸 What do you feel like playing or creating? • Classical guitar: repertoire from early music to contemporary music, technique, sound, interpretation and expression. • Electric guitar: rock, metal, pop, riffs, solos and sound engineering. • Accompaniment: chords, rhythms, variety and French songs, for playing alone, singing or accompanying other musicians. • Music from films and video games: play your favorite themes or adapt them for guitar. • Music theory: understanding chords, harmony, rhythm and the construction of pieces, with explanations linked to practice. • Composition and arrangement: develop your ideas, write your music or transform a piece to make it your own. 🎵 A place for music in your everyday life In my teaching, I place equal importance on understanding and the enjoyment of playing. I like to make complex concepts accessible, seeking what will help each student progress and giving them the tools to become independent. My wish is that everyone can develop a practice that suits them, with curiosity, confidence, and the desire to continue. The courses welcome beginners as well as advanced musicians, with teaching methods adapted to the age and background of each individual. Tell me what you would like to play or learn, and where you are today!

“ Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more. ”

“ After only a few lessons with Jeremy, I can say that he helped me progress more than I was able to achieve in 2 years trying to learn the bass through Youtube videos… He helped with the theoretical aspects as well as with my playing technique. He is very methodical and adapts to your needs and requests, and he also provided me with homework and very helpful tips and practice exercices. Highly recommended! ”

“ The teacher was warm, attentive, and very clear in her explanations. She quickly identified areas I could improve and gave me practical tips to work on. Highly recommended! ”
