About Me
I am a Baroque Flute (Traverso) teacher and player, a former teacher at the Leipzig Conservatory (Germany) with over 25 years of teaching experience

I am Hungarian by birth but have spent more than half of my life traveling the world as an artist, regular teacher at major European conservatories and professor at master classes and summer schools throughout Europe, Japan, Russia and the Middle East. I am an avid teacher who prefers the perks of being a freelance musician rather than working in music institutions. During the last 25 years or so I have taught at least 300 students in conservatories, privately or in master classes; provided about 15 of them with a university degree (BMus or MMus).
As a performer I won two prestigious baroque music competitions (Baroque Music Artist Competition, Orlando, USA, & Musica Antiqua Competition, Bruges, Belgium) and produced 12 CDs as a soloist.
I am happy to teach open-minded, enthusiastic students of all ages, levels and nations who want to learn the baroque flute.
