Trusted teacher: My name is Gabriel, I am 18 years old and I have been studying piano since I was 4 years old in recognized institutions such as Casa Sors (academy) and Tremolo (pseudo-conservatory) here in Barcelona. I have always played the piano for recreational purposes, but that has not prevented me from reaching a good level. In addition, I have perfected my skills under the guidance of excellent private teachers. My vocation for teaching is purely for fun, I like to teach how to play the instrument that makes me so happy. In any language you want! Availability to teach in different languages: Catalan (native), Spanish (native), English (C2) and French (B2 and Bachibac). Information about classes • I am addressing students with a beginner level or who want to resume the study of this instrument • My approach is very practical and direct, ideal for those seeking effective results as well as useful and enriching learning. • I offer the possibility of giving classes at my home in Barcelona or travelling to any home in Barcelona and surrounding areas (Sabadell, Terrassa, Sant Cugat, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues, Cornellà, among others). Experience and skills • I have experience teaching piano to family and friends. • In addition, I am a basketball coach for learning categories, which has allowed me to develop skills to work well with boys and girls of young ages as well as adolescents. • I have also given several concerts in residences and I am also good at working with older people. Don't miss this opportunity to learn to play the piano in a fun and effective way! Contact me for more information and to schedule your lessons.

Trusted teacher: A young clarinetist and teacher, he graduated in Higher Education with a specialization in clarinet performance from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu, with Isaac Rodríguez as his teacher, and completed the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. He has also attended regular classes with Miguel Espejo and master classes with Giovanni Punzi, Nicolas Baldeyrou, Phillip Berrod, Hedwig Swimberghe, Josep Fuster, Luís Gomes, and José Luis Estellés. He has been part of the Ataúlfo Argenta Youth Symphony Orchestra for 7 years, as well as participating in concerts in some of the great theaters on the national scene, such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu, L'Auditori de Barcelona or the Euskalduna Palace, alongside artists of renowned prestige, such as Pacho Flores, Joyce DiDonato or Jordi Savall, and performed symphonic works under the baton of Hugo Carrio, Borja Quintas, Manel Valdivieso, Jhoanna Sierralta, José R. Pascual-Vilaplana or Lara Diloy. Additionally, currently (2025), he is working as the sole author on the composition of the soundtrack for a feature film, as well as creating music through more personal projects. In the pedagogical field, I have been teaching clarinet and musical language classes for 8 years. My specialty is the clarinet, but I offer lessons in harmony, composition, musical analysis, musical language (solfeggio), piano and guitar. In these years I have learned with students of all ages, from the youngest years to older adults, both in private classes and in music schools, and the result for everyone (including me) has been enjoyment and learning. The most important thing, I think, to be able to learn without dying in the attempt, is that there is a great understanding, and that is why I love that they ask me questions and everything is always clear, since music is not an easy discipline, but it deserves the grief. And it is especially worth it when you understand what is happening to you while you learn and fall and learn again (both in music and in your emotions when practicing an artistic discipline live).

My Pedagogical Approach: Discovering Music Together In my role as a piano teacher, I embrace a pedagogical philosophy that goes beyond technical teaching and dives into the emotional exploration of music. My goal is to cultivate a lasting love of the piano, encouraging my students to enjoy every step of the learning process. Emotional Connection with Music: I firmly believe in the importance of establishing an emotional connection with music. Each lesson is not only an opportunity to improve technique, but also to experience the emotional richness that music can offer. Adaptability and Personalization: I recognize the uniqueness of each student and adapt my approach to meet their individual needs. From beginners to those looking to perfect their craft, I adjust my teaching to foster a positive, personalized learning environment. Fun and Creative Learning: I foster a fun and creative learning environment. Through hands-on activities, musical games, and free exploration, I seek to make each lesson a unique and enriching experience. Integration of Technique and Expression: I understand the importance of technique on the piano, but I combine it with a strong emphasis on artistic expression. I seek to balance technical discipline with creative freedom, allowing my students to develop their unique voice on the instrument. Constructive Feedback and Motivation: I provide constructive feedback in an encouraging manner to motivate my students to overcome challenges and achieve goals. I believe in the power of intrinsic motivation and work to nurture self-confidence and self-expression in my students. In short, my approach goes beyond teaching piano playing; it's about cultivating a deep appreciation for music and empowering my students to discover and develop their own musical journey.

My middle school aged son really enjoyed his first class with Maria. I appreciate that she was able to assess his skills and needs well just after one class. We are very happy to have found such a wonderful teacher to guide our son's musical journey!
