I have been tutoring since 2017, both in person, in schools and online, since 2017, I have been working with around 250 students, located everywhere in the world! Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience: 2022-Now: Online tutoring on Apprentus, (approx 12h/week). 2023: Tutor of Dutch at Varady Language school in Geneva 2021-2022: I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus. 2021: Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French. 2017-2020: I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English. During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework. Diplomas: Bac + 5: Engineer from the Purpan School of Engineering Cambridge IGCSE, SKILL TOEFL TOEIC (990/990) BAFA (Brevet of Aptitude for Facilitator Functions) Use an excellent teaching method based on all communication. Memory is constantly stimulated thanks to images, associations of ideas, the use of exciting contexts... This method works very well for all ages and all levels. I have 7 years of teaching experience at all levels, academic support, refresher training, oral coaching, travel preparation. I also hold the BAFA (Brevet d'Aptitude aux Functions d'Animateur) and teach children in a fun and adapted way, using games, songs, plastic activities, so that they quickly become comfortable, and happy to speak English! The ++ Clear and effective explanations with a white table with visual support, at home An interest for multiple subjects allowing for various and interesting connections (travel, languages, culture, technology, sports, ...) You can watch movies or series, subtitles in French at first then in English when you are more comfortable. You can listen to the songs in the lyrics ("lyrics" in English). 2) Many speakers Also essential, find a teacher who has a good conversation, or a friend, college... Speak even if you lack vocabulary. Mime the missing words, draw, make yourself understood at your level. 3) Read simple things Books for children can be a wonderful tool of progress. Roald Dahl's books for example (Fantastic Mr Fox, Charly and the Chocolate Factory...) the series "the worst witch" by Jill Murphy. Comics too.

Benoit is a natural teacher and I think has the rare quality to empathise with his students. So whether he is teaching young children, bright adults or struggling grown ups like myself he can sense your difficulties and intuitively develop your skills. I found his manner easy, engaging and with just the right amount of challenge to make you feel progress and confident. To my surprise we spent the first half hour conversing in French. At the end of the lesson he can me work sheets he’d thought about and prepared himself. I would wholeheartedly recommend Benoit. Bravo Benoit. Ian

Florencia welcomed us with different activities to find out about our level of Spanish. The lessons gave plenty of speaking opportunities. She took the time to analyse the mistakes made on Spanish exams to find ways of improving. After each lesson, Florencia gave us links for more online excersices and the notes to the lesson. She was friendly, accommodating, patient and non-judging - a great teacher

Don't think twice, just book ! Fay is an unbelievable tutor who has been helping my son with Eng LAL Internal Oral journey. Whilst we initially expected a supplement to his current teacher, to our surprise Fay has added a totally new dimension and dynamic which is evident in my son's approach and confidence towards the task.
