Trusted teacher: I'm a bass player and composer, a graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow (UK). I've got over fifteen years of experience in teaching music and I offer one-to-one lessons in: • Composing • Arranging • Electric Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical) • Double Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical) • Music Theory • Jazz Harmony • Notation with Sibelius software • Ensemble and Musicianship Although my method is tailored to each student's needs, I structure it as follows: • Establish a connection with the pupil by understanding their needs and musical objectives. • Design a path tailored to the pupil's goals that uses and develops any pre-existing knowledge and skills. • Guide the student in comprehending the theory behind the basic elements of music, such as scales and arpeggios. • Introduction to the notions of tonality, harmony and harmonic analysis. • Development of the notions of melody, form and structure. • Guide the pupil in understanding the application of different techniques of approaching the composing process, in order to establish a personal method. • Understanding the specific musical language of different genres such as Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, Pop y Folk through listening and transcriptions. • Analysis of scores and arrangements of other composers. • Practical composing exercises based upon the studied techniques. I can teach either in English, Italian or Spanish and the lessons can be in person at my place or yours, or via Zoom. Get in touch for more information!

Mouain

rating green star
We hired Mouain as a swimming teacher for our four grandkids, and they had a wonderful time. They really enjoyed all the fun activities arranged, and it was clear how much thought and effort Mouain had put into making the lessons engaging and enjoyable for them. He was patient, encouraging, and great at keeping them interested while helping them build confidence in the water. Thank you Mouain for giving them such a positive experience—we truly appreciate it and would highly recommend you.

Lynette

rating green star
I have taken my first lesson with Lynette and it was a great experience. I have been singing for some time at a choir, but have no formal training and want to learn the fundamental technique, and also work on some of the pieces we sing at the choir. The lesson was very practical, dynamic and she pays great attention to detail. After the class I could feel the improvement on the areas we have covered and felt much more confident on my skills. Highly recommended!

Learn Moroccan culture and the Arabic language - Moroccan dialect (Fes)
Oumayma

rating green star
Passing through Fes, I had the opportunity for 1-1 tuition with Oumayma. Given my circumstances, we had to use office premises with temporarily limited Internet access. This caused her no apparent difficulty and we worked in French although both of us have Arabic and English skills. At the end of 8 hours, I had achieved my limited goals in colloquial Moroccan arabic and found Oumayma to be a talented tutor, able to adapt professionally to client requirements.
