Hello learners :) I've been working as a Greek tutor for almost a year now, and I'm excited to launch my new project: Greek Reading class! If you already know how to read in Greek, and you just need some extra engaging and stimulating reading practice to either upgrade your level or just enhance your vocabulary and boost your confidence while reading Greek, this class is for you! In each class you'll be given the chance to practice reading though different stories, articles, book chapters etc. This class is not limited to just reading, but together we'll try to translate any written text and engage in either small and guided discussion or "choose the correct answer" type of questions. In this way, I'm aiming to boost each student's confidence regarding Greek comprehension.

As a foreign language learner myself, I know that practicing reading can be a bit demanding and time consuming, due to our everyday responsibilities! Ik begrijp hoe veel leerlingen denken en waarom ze vastlopen, terwijl docenten daar vaak moeite mee hebben.
Ik kan ingewikkelde leerstof daarom op een persoonlijke manier overbrengen. Met behulp van een voorbeeld, visualisatie, vergelijking etc.

Ik hoor vaak na een uitleg:
- Oooooohhh, nu snap ik het!
- Waarom zegt de docent dit niet gewoon?
- Dat is eigenlijk wel logisch ja...

Mijn manier van lesgeven is puur gericht op het helpen bij dingen die lastig of onduidelijk zijn.
We gaan zitten en dan vraag ik, "wat moet je weten voor de toets?" En dan krijg ik een paar theorieblokken aangewezen en dan komen we er al heel snel achter waar het fout gaat en dan zorg ik ervoor dat het duidelijk is.

Meestal duurt een les totdat alle stof wordt begrepen, als dat te veel is stoppen we meestal na 1 / 1.5 uur. Of wanneer de energie op is.

Ich glaube, dass jeder das Potenzial hat, eine neue Sprache zu lernen. Gib nicht auf, auch wenn es anfangs schwierig erscheint! Vieles wird viel einfacher, wenn man es etwas anders erklärt. Ich selbst bin sprachbegeistert und helfe gerne, wenn etwas etwas knifflig erscheint.
Meine Muttersprachen sind Griechisch und Deutsch, daher bin ich zweisprachig aufgewachsen und spreche Griechisch, seit ich klein bin.
