Michaël - Poitiers$44
Trusted teacher: Hello. My name is Michaël. I am basically a French teacher but I regularly provide tutoring for middle school students. Continuously for 10 years with an average of 4 students followed per year at a rate of 2 or 3 lessons of 1h30/2h each per week over the year. Possibility of intensive lessons during the holidays. If your child has problems with French which penalize him in all subjects (conjugation, grammar, spelling). If he doesn't understand anything in his lessons or if, unfortunately, his teacher is absent too often and you fear failing the brevet. If your child does not know what a literary genre, a figure of speech, a lexical field is. If he never manages to write well, if he lacks inspiration for the writing test. If he doesn't know how to manage his time. If your child has concerns about shyness that prevent him from speaking in front of the class or make him lose his means. If your child has problems with mathematics (mental calculation, multiplication tables, additions, subtractions, divisions, equations, fractions, trigonometry, statistics, Pythagorean/Thales theorems, conversions, etc.). If your child has trouble learning history lessons, or is bad at English or Spanish. So I can help you! I am above all someone pedagogue, cool and with a good dose of humor to better de-dramatize certain situations. I mainly give courses remotely (Skype/Zoom/Teams/Whatsapp) and we generally get very good results, rest assured! Duration of courses: 1 hour minimum. IMPORTANT: I accept payment by universal employment service check (CESU).

Trusted teacher: Personal coaching with children involves specific, personalized support aimed at helping children develop their skills, overcome obstacles, improve their emotional well-being and achieve their personal goals. Here are some key points of this process: Skills Development: The Personal Coach for Kids helps identify the child's strengths and weaknesses, encouraging the development of social, emotional, academic and behavioral skills. This may include communication skills, problem solving, stress management, etc. Goals and aspirations: The coach works with the child to clarify their personal goals, aspirations and desires, helping them to set realistic and achievable goals. These goals can be related to school, hobbies, peer relationships, self-confidence, etc. Confidence and self-esteem: Personal coaching often aims to strengthen the child's self-confidence and self-esteem. This is done by encouraging successes, providing positive support, teaching techniques for dealing with failures, and encouraging independence. Managing Emotions: Children may face various emotions and emotional challenges. A personal coach can teach emotion management, self-regulation and conflict resolution techniques to help the child better manage their feelings and reactions. Communication and interpersonal relationships: The coach can help the child develop social skills, improve communication and establish healthy relationships with others, whether with peers, teachers or family members. Strategies and techniques adapted to the child: Each child is unique. The coach adapts to the child's personality, interests and specific needs to provide strategies and techniques adapted to their learning style and particularities. Collaboration with parents: Often, personal coaching also involves working closely with parents to understand the child's home environment, to exchange information and to implement coherent strategies between school, home and coaching. Conversation lessons in Spanish for foreigners in Ibiza (Ibiza Town)
Juan

My lesson with Juan was perfect for my needs. Having a conversation sitting outside a coffee bar in Ibiza is very different from learning Spanish in a classroom. With Juan you learn Spanish naturally and in context, He picks up on areas of weakness, helps you sound more like a local and explains grammar where necessary. Juan is a lovely person and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. I'm already thinking about the next time I can get to the island and take more classes. Fully recommended!

Maria

I have worked with Maria for a few weeks now. She has been really helpfully in a number of areas - identifying where I need improvement through conversation, listening to what I wanted to achieve from the sessions, and then mixing the two to produce really helpful lessons. Maria is responsive to my needs - she sees when I am struggling or doing well and adjusts the lessons accordingly while also keeping it interesting and specific for me.

Jessica was really kind and put me at ease for my first ever singing lesson. I’m someone with no singing experience so it was great that she introduced some basics and exercises I could use to practice. Very friendly and easy going!
