Trusted teacher: Learning to play the piano is a wonderful and very diverse experience! Every beginner has to go through it in their own special way in order to realize one's personal aspirations. But sometimes, unfortunately, due to a lack of guidance and direction, the learning process may cause some difficulties followed by unexpected disappointment. If you are in need of said guidance, if your learning experience is not that captivating or satisfying anymore, you don't have to turn away from your dreams of playing the piano - I will gladly help you to get closer to them in a fun and enjoyable way in our lessons! After finishing music school with the highest grades twice as well as a number of additional courses (improvisation, composition, orchestras, etc.) and after honing my teaching skills for more than 4 years, I can safely say that my lessons may prove useful to any type of student with any kind of given objective at hand. No matter your age, your previous experience, or background, you just need to name me your personal goal, task, or even a dream - be ready to dedicate a little time and effort, and I will take care of all the rest. I am an experienced opera singer and vocal teacher with a profound academic background and a rich history of working with some of the most renowned figures in the world of music. I earned my Master’s Degree with honours from the National Music Academy of Ukraine. I also had the privilege of taking lessons with Seth Riggs, one of the world’s leading vocal coaches, who has worked with famous artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Barbra Streisand. I have further refined my skills at prestigious institutions, including the Vienna Opera Academy in Austria, the Georg Solti Accademia in Castiglione Della Pescaia, Italy, where I was mentored by legendary mezzo-soprano Grace Bumbry and celebrated soprano Barbara Frittoli. Additionally, I finished my training at the Lotte Lehmann Akademie in Perleberg, Germany, working with world-class voice teachers and conductors from some of the leading opera houses around the world. I have performed for Hollywood celebrities in Italy and for Ukrainian presidents and foreign diplomats at political events in Kyiv, Ukraine. I have taken part in prestigious music festivals, including the Morellino Classical Festival in Tuscany, Italy, and the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music in Austria. I also participated in the first-year GSA program for alumni in Castiglione Della Pescaia, Italy, and the Solti-Peretti program in Venice, Italy. I have thoroughly studied all the esteemed vocal literature in five languages, which, along with my studies in vocal technique, allows me to provide a deeply informed and effective approach to singing. As a teacher, I believe in accelerating the development of my students. While it typically takes 10 years to become a professional singer, I achieve the same results in just 2 years, helping my students develop their skills much faster than the usual approach. I work with a wide range of vocal issues, including: • Trouble with range, breath control, tone production • Vocal strain, voice fatigue, and issues with high notes • Psychological difficulties related to performing and using the voice • Difficulty with transitions, voice cracks, and loss of voice during speech or singing • Problems with pitch accuracy, foreign accents in foreign languages, and resonance • And many other challenges of any level of severity. I currently teach students who are well-known jazz performers in New York and along the entire eastern American coast. Good question! Here’s more on my qualifications than you ever hoped to hear. My area of specialization has predominantly been physics based simulation, for aerospace vehicle dynamics. Design and analysis of these requires well optimized numerical methods. The wide range of physics present in an aerospace vehicle means a collection of both different physics subdomains and numerical methods, since certain physical phenomena are governed by math relations that don’t necessarily behave just the same way, and nearly just as importantly, they may occur at different size scales. These separate phenomena then need to be integrated into a full system for simulation. The amount of logic and data required can both get quite large, meaning abstraction of reusable subcomponents and design of clean extensible APIs is needed for both new system designs, and even for the maintainability of just a single integrated system. Furthermore simulation of a full aerospace vehicles requires a system architecture with data processing and flow between subcomponents that can occurs in real time and with redundancy. Having sufficient scalability consistency reliability and reusability/maintainability for all of this requires a well designed high level software architecture. This focus on software engineering despite being in predominantly physics based field for most my education and career slowly but surely lured me into a full Tech job. Now I’m here available to you with a passion for both fields, in addition I bring some fresh insight to those thinking about breaking into the booming IT industry here in Kyiv.
