Trusted teacher: Hi All, thank you for checking out my course. This class is open to students of all levels. Whether you are only starting to learn the wild-looking letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, or whether you are looking to practise your written and spoken Russian, I would be delighted to accompany you at any stage of your Russian-learning journey. For more advanced students, I would be happy to help you get to know one of the most defining aspects of the Russian language, namely its novels and poetry, which would be a great way to learn about the 'mysterious' Russian soul. I believe that studying in three different countries have allowed me to try out and assess various approaches to education in general and teaching languages in particular - from the rigourous Russian system based on ensuring that the students will obtain exceptional spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation skills, to the more relaxed yet more critical and analytical Western approach, focused on problem-solving and independent work. You will get the benefit of a vast bank of techniques, methods and learning materials that I have developed and accumulated over the past year will be used in class to pique and maintain your interest. And since I was once a language student too, I would be able to share my personal tips and tricks with you to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself - be it being able to wow your friends and family by reciting a poem in the language of Dostoyevski, or impressing your future collegues with the thorough knowledge of Russian current affairs in their mother tongue!

I hold a Master's degree in Operational Research (Applied Mathematics) and I have been teaching private lessons for more than three years, mainly mathematics for middle and high school levels. ✏ I have taught students from different schools, whether public, private, following the French program (mission), Belgian, Swiss, Spanish (students from French-speaking or English-speaking Spanish schools) or American. In summary, all French or English programs. ✏ I support students from A to Z in all stages of their learning, using a simple, new generation and effective methodology: explanation of lessons, summary of lessons, application and deepening exercises, etc. ✏ I also prepare students for exams and competitions. ✏ I also support students with their homework (homework help). ✏ All my students have made extraordinary progress and achieved their goals, with grades of 16, 17, 18 or 19 out of 20. Hello, my name is Johann, and I'm 19 years old. I've been tutoring regularly since 2020 and have already demonstrably helped many students improve their grades – from elementary school to high school. I graduated from high school in 2024 at the age of 17 with a grade of 1.4, including mathematics as an advanced subject (always achieving 1st place). I represented my school in a mathematics competition in Bonn and have successfully taught students from grades 1 to 12. I have particularly often helped prepare for the Central Final Examinations (ZAP). I also enjoy teaching chemistry; I also represented my school in this subject at a university and consistently achieved 1st place. I also really enjoy teaching English. I spent six months at the renowned EF International Language School in Singapore, where I earned my C2 certificate. In addition, through traveling and daily interaction with my English-speaking friend, I developed a natural feel for the language. I am currently starting my bachelor's degree in business at the University of Münster and am planning to do a double degree in mathematics at the same time. As a tutor, I prioritize individualized attention to each student, working specifically on weaknesses, and building self-confidence. If necessary, I provide my own teaching materials tailored specifically to each student's weaknesses. If necessary, I also assign homework to ensure consistency. I also keep parents informed with updates so they can actively monitor their progress. I look forward to supporting your child on their learning journey and making significant progress together. Trusted teacher: Hello, I can give you guidance in career planning in STEM-related fields - but only research/academia paths and not industrial sectors. Besides that, I can also help students improve their presentation skills in cases of their bachelor/master/PhD thesis or any other presentations that you might have to give for any of your courses and interviews for PhD positions. Presentation skills - It is very important and beneficial to give very good talks when you are presenting your research work in some course or your thesis during your bachelor/master/PhD. I will help you in giving good constructive feedback about your presentation and especially the chronology in which the items should be presented. During the course of my studies, I have written several reports and deliverables wherein I was required to write highly scientific content in short and easy-to-follow sentences. This is an art that one never stops learning. Hence, I am no master or expert in these things, but I surely have a good amount of experience which I can share with you. Career counselling - I am currently in the last year of my PhD studies in physics, based in Hamburg, Germany. I have studied in various places and hence know the importance of communication, networking, and choosing the right groups for one's career development. I have studied in India, Portugal, Russia, the Netherlands and Germany. I have been involved in many research projects up to now ranging from chemistry, biophysics to pure and applied physics. I can help you in tailoring your resume/CV for the positions you apply for and can also help you write your cover letter/statement of purpose.

Greetings! If you've come across this page, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Sean, a composer from Melbourne, Australia, now based in Berlin. I am currently freelancing all around Europe and have had my music played by some of the preeminent ensembles and contemporary music players. I primarily work with contemporary 'new' music, focusing on finding the expressive qualities of instruments and players, sometimes with edgy, earthy results that can verge on abrasive; though I am open to a wide variety of aesthetics. My practice is notated mostly, but I have experience with electroacoustic and non-traditional forms of musical composition also, as well as improvisation. Much of my teaching style comes down to creating feedback loops with my students. I am firm with my students to ensure I get their full potential. Of course, if a student comes to me with a particular area of interest and/or issue that is my main focus. More general students should expect to focus on building up their aesthetics and discovering new ways of using the tools at their disposal. I like to invest time in my students, including introducing them to connections in the professional sphere to assist in their trajectory as composers in the real world. This does not mean my students need to have aspirations to be professional composers necessarily, but it is crucial for 'emerging' voices to hear their music live - even in reading sessions and practice rooms with performers - to get the full experience of the cycle of composing. I am familiar with the software Sibelius, but prefer for my students to write by hand - at least for drafts - as this gives them the most agency and discipline in composing the music they seek to. I am looking to open my teaching roster to diligent young composers and aspiring amateurs. Limited spots remain, so please feel free to contact me to secure a spot. I offer all my lessons in English, with the possibility to integrate German into them as well. - SQ :) Note: please don't request free lessons; this is not appropriate.

Trusted teacher: Bonjour à tous! My name is Hovhannes (Johannes in German) and I am a 22-year-old student interning in Munich. I graduated from a French high school with highest honors in 2018, yet 3 years ago (in 2015) I didn't speak any French at all. I then spent 3 years to complete my bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, with a major in Economics. From 2021 onward, I study at a French business school (Top10) for my master’s degree in Corporate Finance. Currently living in Munich, I am here to do an internship at BMW finance department. During my 6-month stay I would love to share my passion for foreign languages with you. I’m a self-taught polyglot as I speak 5 foreign languages: French, English, German, Russian and Armenian. I am native in French, English and Armenian. Indeed, I learnt French 7 years ago, so I am already familiar with most of the difficulties and challenges that you are going to face in a language leaning process. It would be my pleasure to share with you my experience and the precious tips that helped me to learn and improve my language skills efficiently. I am here to help you to improve your speaking/writing/reading/listening skills. If you are looking forward to taking an exam, I’ll be happy to assist you as I have taken several language tests and exams. For example, I scored 81,5/100 in DELF B1 level test after only 8 months of learning French from scratch. At this point I am more than ready to help others to succeed in their exams. The idea is that I adapt to the needs of my students and teach in a contextual setting. Thus, it will be dynamic, captivating and easier to digest the information. Additionally, given my economics and finance background, I can teach you the technical vocabulary pertaining to these realms, by going through/studying some articles from famous French newspapers (eg. Figaro, Le Monde etc). I have 2 years of experience in teaching English and Russian to pupils. I loved it. Hence, I decided to teach once again as I have some spare time at my disposal. Courses can be held either in English, German or French (up to you to decide!). Most importantly, I prefer teaching face-to-face, because interacting with people in real life is the most effective method for language learning, according to my recent experience. Finally, small groups can be made in order to make this experience more fun and interactive, especially if you seek to enhance your conversational skills. Looking forward to meeting you soon. A bientôt !

Trusted teacher: My name is Han-Yin. I come from Taiwan and have been living in Germany since 2017. I have been playing the violin and piano with great enthusiasm since I was six. As a teenager I played the violin in various orchestras, took part in many concerts and was able to gain a lot of experience on stage. In 2012, I started my bachelor's degree in music in Taiwan at Kaohsiung University. In addition to my major in violin, I studied piano as a minor for 3 years and I also studied conducting for 1 year. During my time as a practicing musician, I have gained a lot of experience in different orchestras. In 2013, for example, I passed the entrance exam to the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra and played there as first violinist for three years. On tour tours with the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra through China (including Shanghai and Beijing) I played at many concerts. During my university days I took part in many violin master’s courses, which were led by international violin masters such as Ivanov, Repin and Boulier. In 2016 I was accepted into the Summer Academy of the Asia Young Orchestra. With the orchestra members, who come from all over Asia, I have played concerts in various Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, China and Taiwan. In 2017 I started my master’s degree in music at the University of Music and Dance in Cologne. During my studies I also played chamber music with colleagues and won 3rd place in the Brigitte Kempen competition in Aachen. In 2019 I was accepted into the orchestra of the Aachen Theater, where I not only played symphony pieces, but also various operas in collaboration with actors. I am currently studying orchestral playing in the second master’s course at the Robert Schumann Music Academy in Düsseldorf. My experience as a violin teacher: During my university days in Taiwan, I gave violin lessons to children aged 9 and over, teenagers and adults. Among other things, I successfully prepared young people for the entrance examination for the music college. My teaching goals: There are different goals, depending on the age, development, interests and needs of the student. For example, it is important to me to adjust myself individually to the person who wants to play the violin. In addition to the classic method, which is more suitable for older adolescents and adults, there is the Suzuki method, which I would use with children who have not yet had any experience with an instrument. It is my concern to strengthen the self-confidence of the children with the help of music and playing the violin. I want to encourage the children to develop an enthusiasm for music and to learn to play the violin with enthusiasm. The focus is on fun and motivation, which results from regular small successes when practicing the violin. But stamina should also be trained, and music theory is gradually being added to. I would also like to cater to the different needs of children, adolescents and adults who already have experience playing the violin. I give my professional support to students who want to improve and refine their violin playing. I also specifically prepare students who want to study at the music college for the entrance exam. My role model function: I am very enthusiastic about music myself and love to play the violin. I want to convey the joy of music and the violin as an instrument. I am very patient and persistent, I can listen well and see what the students need to formulate and achieve their goals. Due to my good ability to observe, I can adapt flexibly to the students and thus teach them according to their needs. Many Thanks!!

My goal is not only to teach you the language but ensure you the ability to learn by yourself in the future. We have limited time and limited energy and I know for the fact that you can’t have a teacher forever. However, once you build a solid foundation of a language and figure your ways out about that language, you will be able to learn and improve the language for life long. And this is my philosophy of being a Chinese teacher. My name is Jing , from Guangzhou, China. I have “Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages” from Confucius Institute, Beijing. I have worked as a Chinese teacher teaching foreign students more than 10 years in different countries. The Chinese courses I have taught were basic Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Advanced Chinese, and Business Chinese. Meanwhile, I introduced Chinese traditions and organized cultural activities. Currently, I am a freelancer working for a language institute in Berlin. Before that, I worked as a full time Chinese Instructor in Okan University, Istanbul, Turkey. I was a both full-time and part-time Chinese for teenagers in Turkey, for kids in Poland, adults in Spain. My philosophy being a Chinese teacher is also the dissemination of Chinese culture and the promotion of integration between Chinese and foreign culture. I enjoy every second in the lessons when I am teaching Chinese and what I do is to make your learning fruitful and full of fun, I know well the common difficulties of learning Chinese for foreign students and how to adapt teaching to achieve the best results. I am up to date with modern technologies such as online teaching, social media and other latest teaching methods.

Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.
