Trusted teacher: Tere! I’m a native Estonian speaker, language teacher, and violinist currently studying at a university in Germany. Languages and music are my two biggest passions, and I believe that learning a language should be a natural and enjoyable process. I have years of experience in language teaching and speak fluent English and German in addition to Estonian. My teaching approach is highly personalized – I adapt each lesson to suit your individual needs, ensuring that learning is both effective and engaging. I integrate vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and listening into every session, so you can immediately put theory into practice. For me, the most important thing is that you feel confident using the language from the very beginning—without the fear of making mistakes. My goal is to support you in reaching your personal language-learning milestones in a way that feels motivating and rewarding. My Estonian lessons are designed for learners of all levels and ages. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, I will tailor the lessons to match your goals and interests. ✔ Focus on real-life communication – Improve your conversation skills, expand vocabulary, and understand grammar in a practical way. ✔ Supportive and flexible learning – Lessons are structured yet adaptable to your pace and learning style. ✔ Confidence-building approach – No fear of mistakes; they’re part of the process! Estonian
4. Materiais e Ferramentas Recursos: Clipes do YouTube, podcasts (BBC Learning English), flashcards no Quizlet. Materiais personalizados: PDFs simples que eu preparo ou exercícios rápidos. Tecnologia: Uso Zoom ou ferramentas do Superprof para compartilhar tela; apps de pronúncia quando necessário. Acompanhamento: Documento compartilhado (Google Docs) para registrar novo vocabulário e autoavaliações. 5. Avaliação e Progresso Informal: Feedback contínuo durante as conversas (ex: redução de hesitações ao longo do tempo). Marcos: A cada 5 aulas, faço um “desafio conversacional” (debate cronometrado), avaliando clareza, vocabulário e fluência. Ajustes: Se o aluno tiver dificuldade, aumento o uso de apoio visual ou diminuo o ritmo.

Trusted teacher: I offer online or face-to-face English lessons to non-native speakers. I work with the student to identify learning objectives and any areas of weakness and tailor the lesson accordingly. Areas covered during the lesson include, speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar accent reduction. I currently live in Den Haag, The Netherlands. In addition to private coaching, I also work for an online ESL company delivering English lessons to children across a range of age groups. In addition, I also work as an ESL proofreader and IELTS private tutor here in The Hague. I hold a BA (Hons) degree and have a CELTA qualification. Prior to a career in ESL English teaching, I worked in the UK national press for the Times and Financial Times newspapers. It was there I developed my proofreading and communications skills. In my spare time, I write articles for magazines and have had feature stories published in The Telegraph magazine, The Daily Mail and a number of health magazines. I have also written two language books. The first, 'I Already Speak Speak French!' is an illustrated book for children that covers the etymology of many English words to their French origin (attached is a sample of it for your interest!). It has been translated for the French market into, 'I Already Speak English!' The second book is called, 'Learn Business English FAST!' which draws on a teaching methodology used for effective, fast learning that I used whilst teaching English for the international company, GoFluent.

Welcome! I’m James, and I help you transform the way you communicate with the world. As a Psychologist living in the international hub of Berlin, I understand the cultural and mental shifts needed to truly become bilingual. Learning a language isn't just about grammar—it's about identity and connection. 🎓 MY BACKGROUND: * Psychology Degree (2014-2018): During my degree, I developed key skills in Active Listening and Behavioral Observation. This allows me to "read" your learning style and identify exactly which mental patterns are holding you back from fluency. * The Multilingual Mindset: Based in international hubs like Dublin and Berlin, I live a quadrilingual life, navigating English, Portuguese, Spanish, and German every single day. I don’t just teach languages; I live the psychological process of switching between them constantly. * Cognitive Process Specialist: I use my background to "hack" your learning journey. I replace traditional, stressful memorization with natural flow techniques, helping your brain store vocabulary and grammar in a way that feels intuitive, not forced. * Cultural Adaptation Expert: Having lived in diverse European capitals, I understand the emotional and social shifts needed to truly integrate. I help you build the confidence to not just speak, but to belong in any global environment. 🚀 WHY CHOOSE A PSYCHOLOGY-BASED APPROACH? Traditional methods often focus only on textbooks. Our sessions focus on YOU and how your brain naturally works: * 🌟 Your Global Identity: Have you ever felt like a "different person" when speaking another language? We work on building your Fluent Identity—ensuring you feel just as confident, witty, and authentic in [Idioma] as you do in your native tongue. * 🧠 Brain-Friendly Immersion: No more forced memorization. I use techniques that align with your brain's natural rhythm, making the language stick through meaningful experiences rather than boring repetition. * 🌊 The "Flow" State: We dive into topics you are truly passionate about. When your mind is engaged and curious, learning happens faster and feels like a discovery, not a chore. * 💪 Mental Empowerment: I provide you with "mindset tools" to stay calm and clear-headed during high-pressure situations, like job interviews, presentations, or travel. 💼 HOW WE WILL WORK TOGETHER: * Personalized Expansion Plan: Every student gets a roadmap tailored to their specific lifestyle and goals. * Active Conversation: High-level discussions that challenge your brain and expand your vocabulary. * Real-World Application: Whether it’s for high-stakes business meetings, travel, or moving abroad, we practice for your real life. * Psychological Support: I offer constant feedback and techniques to keep your motivation high and your mind open. ❤️ ABOUT ME: Teaching and psychology are my greatest passions, and I am fascinated by how our brains connect through different cultures. When I’m not coaching, you’ll likely find me exploring the vibrant streets of Berlin on my bicycle or recharging in nature. I’m a big believer in the power of mindfulness, meditation, and journaling to keep a clear and expanded perspective, and I always have an interesting book by my side. I bring this same curious and grounded energy into our lessons! ✨ ARE YOU READY TO EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS? Don't just learn a language—transform the way you communicate with the world. Book a lesson today and let’s start building the most confident version of you! 🤝

Learn and improve to speak Italian with a real Florentine (Paris)
Gemma

rating green star
Gemma was a wonderful teacher. Her and I walked around Florence while she was simultaneously teaching me Italian. Her easy going and positive attitude made learning fun while also being very substantial. Gemma is super patient, and after the second day I could construct longer, more complicated sentences. I had mentioned some struggles I have had within schooling where I struggled with pronouns and prepositions, and by the first day I could do it easy no problem due to her explanations being very good. Overall I Gemma is a very good tutor and I highly recommend her.

English lessons for speakers of other languages by CELTA qualified native speaker (Voorburg)
Sinead

rating green star
I started learning English more than 25 years ago, and recently decided to refine and polish it further. Sinead has been extremely helpful in identifying small grammatical mistakes I was not aware of and in improving my use of idioms and phrasal verbs. Our lessons are practical and focused on real progress. I highly recommend Sinead, even for professionals over 35 who want to sharpen their English.
