With hands-on experience in English language instruction, cultural orientation, and administrative support, I bring a well-rounded skill set and a deep passion for language education that aligns with your language learning mission and values.
In my recent role, I designed ESL lesson plans and curricula tailored to newly arrived clients and students, emphasizing essential language skills, job readiness, and cultural integration. I played a key role in both in-person and online student enrollment and facilitated ESOL classes to provide individualized needs-based instruction.
Beyond the classroom, I ensured the smooth operation of administrative processes by managing student records, conducting data entry, and coordinating academic advising appointments. I also supported graduate school application processes by handling confidential materials, organizing letters of recommendation, and facilitating communication between students and their committees.
My instructional responsibilities extended to leading micro-teaching sessions both online and in person for undergraduate students and professors. These sessions showcased my ability to implement effective teaching strategies, develop targeted lesson plans, and create instructional materials for diverse classroom environments.
To me, ESL/EFL instruction is about building bridges across cultures and empowering learners with practical, confident communication skills. I strive to foster intercultural competence while ensuring each learner progresses at their own pace through a responsive and inclusive approach.
