At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements. -> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student. -> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor. The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive. They are suitable for children from 7 years old as well as adults of all ages. => Particular attention is paid to the movements and their correct application, to the total independence of the limbs and finally to an understanding of the rhythm and its theory. My main goal is to give the student complete control behind the drums and skills to be able to self-learn any piece in any musical style. 1 hour of weekly lessons are never enough, they should only be used to fuel the passion that will make you play at home more and more. On demand or for advancs students: - I am very passionate about the study of South American rhythms. Due to their complexity, apart from the samba and Baïon ostinatos, they are not included in the program before the advanced level. Trusted teacher: Hi, my name is Jim. I'm an electronic music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from the Fontys Academy of Arts (Rockacademie) in Tilburg, Netherlands. Music has always been my way of exploring the world — through raw field recordings, synthesis, and emotional storytelling. Over the past 12 years, I’ve developed a complete, self-sufficient creative process: from concept to composition, sound design to vocal production, mixing, mastering, and live performance. I’m passionate about helping others gain those same end-to-end technical skills — so they can bring their own musical vision fully to life. As Malvae, I’ve written, sung, recorded, produced, mixed, mastered, and performed all of my work. My music reached #17 in the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the USA, gathered millions of streams, and featured in international film productions including King of the Streets and Netflix’s Terrace House Japan. One of the most formative moments in my career was my Amazonas album project, where I traveled into the Amazon rainforest to record and manipulate natural sounds. 90% of that album was created entirely from these field recordings, reshaped through granular synthesis and advanced sound design into a cohesive sonic journey. I’ve headlined shows at iconic venues like Melkweg Amsterdam with immersive, self-built audiovisual live sets using Ableton Live, modular gear, sequencers, and Resolume for live integrated visuals. Selected Works & Collaborations: My EP Like Bees to a Hive began as a soundscape for fashion brand Lobomar’s collection Final Orders, Please, presented at the Amsterdam World Museum. I collaborated with South African poet Julia-Beth Harris, integrating her spoken word into a seamless, atmospheric release. From sequential Prophet 6 textures to ADX1 drum machine layers and detailed field recordings, I handled every layer, from concept through multitrack production to the final live performance in London. My Chrysalis EP, released as a limited-edition heavyweight red vinyl, pushed that even further, combining ethereal vocals, analog grit, and unique textures to craft an emotionally rich release. I personally led every part of the project’s technical and creative execution, from arrangement and vocal production to final mixing, mastering and vinyl press preparation. In addition to my own projects, I’ve worked as a vocal producer and mixing engineer, including on Esther Veen’s EP Before I Go, where I handled recording, complex vocal layering, creative processing, production, multivocal arrangement and final mixing to deliver a polished, high-impact sound. However, decades ago it was scientifically proven that hypnosis not only exists, but is also very effective in achieving all kinds of different goals. Thanks to the hypnosis course, you too can learn what exactly this fascinating state entails. This way you can not only learn to act, but also get a taste of our courses in debate and presentation techniques (our TV course), communication, singing, improvisation, physical acting, lie detection, hypnosis, directing, or writing! Erickson What is hypnosis? To understand hypnosis, think of sunlight; that is diffuse and falls somewhat everywhere. However, if you bundle light through a number of crystals, you turn it into a laser beam. Hypnosis does the same with your attention. It is usually focused on several things at the same time. Numerous experiments (often with PET scans, such as the experiment by Henry Szechtman of McMaster University in Ontario in 1998, or the pain reduction experiment of Pierre Rainville of the University of Montreal a year earlier) have already shown this. Brain experiments give us a good example of why hypnosis is so effective in (among other things) pain relief. For example, during a well-known experiment, subjects were confronted with pain stimuli of different intensities. They had to report how much pain they were in while their brain activity was also recorded. The subjective experience of pain of the same intensity differed enormously from subject to subject, but the activated brain area during the pain experience was especially interesting: after all, this was an area responsible for memory and experience! How strongly you experience pain is therefore largely related to the way you deal with it and not only to the objective intensity! You will never do anything you don't want to do The above statement is also largely correct, but it must be qualified somewhat. A particularly small portion of the population—perhaps about one percent—seems to reach a state labeled “stuporous.” These people seem to do just about anything asked. Tom had given economie lessen to both my children that are on the middle bar school. My kids were lost, going very bad specially in economie and with limited understanding at school lessons. I decided to hire Tom, was difficult to find someone that give lessons to teenagers and that was knowledged. Tom has been with us the last months, my kids began understanding better, getting the point and scoring better at school.
