I have taught at public professional conservatories, as well as at various private music schools, to students of all ages and skill levels. In my classes, neither age nor skill level is a barrier to teaching musicality and guitar technique. My main objective is to reveal the student's intrinsic qualities naturally and progressively through the enjoyment of music, and the results are proven by the feedback from my students (and their parents). We can work with many different musical styles within classical music, exploring its various forms, musical languages, and sources of musical notation. We can also delve into popular musical styles such as flamenco (rumbas, fandangos, alegrías, sevillanas, etc.) and their different strumming patterns, scales, harmonic structures, and time signatures. Or we can explore the vast and fascinating world of early music through tablatures and manuscripts from the 16th century. I also offer my help with remedial lessons for children or adults having problems in group music theory lessons at the academy or other private schools. Group lessons offer little opportunity to speak one-on-one with a student to overcome certain difficulties; a regular or occasional individual lesson can remedy these problems. I finished my entire cycle of music theory at the academy, as well as 4 additional years of advanced music theory at the Lemmensinstituut during my musical humanities, I then obtained my "solfege prize" in my first year of Bachelor at the Brussels Conservatory . Andrea has become a bit of a safety valve for me—often I have no idea how to teach or guide my daughter when she’s playing cello. The experience has been so helpful and makes the process run much more smoothly. Even with a language barrier (my daughter speaks neither English nor Spanish), Andrea finds ways to connect, and it’s clear how much my daughter looks up to her. When I signed my daughter up for an orchestra camp at the last minute—with only a couple of days to learn the pieces—Andrea was a lifesaver for both of us, and thanks to her, my daughter is able to go and make great memories. We’ve already had a couple of lessons with Andrea and hope to keep working with her. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Robinson has been working with my 13 yr old daughter since the summer and I cannot recommend him enough. He is an amazing pianist, and so patient and kind and super professional. We are so grateful to have met him. Jason is a great teacher and corresponds to what I was expecting from a guitar teacher. He is very good at understanding what you need to improve your playing and his very clear and patient in explaining techniques and theories. He is using easy to read material for his courses. I feel that I have already substantially improved with him. He is flexible about time and and place of lessons. He is also a very friendly and pleasant person.
