I am pleased to present my Italian language course, designed for learners of all ages and all proficiency levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced speaker looking to refine your skills, this course adapts to your individual needs and goals. The course can be taught entirely in Italian or in English, depending on your preference and level. This flexibility allows students to feel comfortable from the very beginning while gradually building confidence in using Italian independently. My teaching approach is based on modern language acquisition principles. Research shows that languages are learned most effectively through active use, meaningful interaction, and consistent exposure. For this reason, each lesson is structured to balance input (listening and reading) with output (speaking and writing), ensuring steady and natural progress. A typical lesson includes: • A short introduction to new vocabulary or grammar structures • Guided exercises to practice comprehension • Interactive activities such as dialogues, role-plays, and real-life scenarios • Extensive speaking practice, because speaking is essential to truly mastering a language • Review and feedback to consolidate learning There is a strong focus on practical communication. Students engage in many exercises and especially in spoken interaction, as speaking regularly is key to building fluency, confidence, and spontaneity. Lessons are tailored to each student’s age, interests, and objectives. Whether working with children, teenagers, or adults, I adapt the materials and pace to create a motivating and supportive learning environment. Whether you need Italian for work, for school, or simply because you are passionate about learning the language, this course is the right choice for you and will help you achieve your goal.

I provide language support and sessions for enhancing language competency in different ways and procedures, drawing upon nearly 15 years of utilizing English as my primary language in both professional and academic settings. This dual-path process following my graduation from Political Sciences has not only required a continuous language development, but also its gradual progress necessitated by different national and international environments. Apart from the initial benchmarks such as KPSS, YDS, TOEFL, and Proficiency, I have been required to go through similar assessment procedures for writing, speaking and communication competency at upper levels. As a graduate of the Faculty of Political Sciences where the medium of instruction is predominantly Turkish, I am familiar with the required steps to develop the language skills at different levels. Building upon this background, and backed up by my professional and academic involvements, I have been providing support for nearly five years, both for Turkish nationals and internationals of all ages and ranging from pre-intermediate to proficient levels. These sessions are typically tailored to individual priorities, planned and progressed through our collaborative work; we can focus on a particular skill—such as grammar, writing, or speaking—or aim for an overall enhancement of linguistic competency through their various combinations. My Master’s and Doctoral studies have been entirely in English, a nearly 15 years of process requiring gradual advancement of academic-theoretical language skills. In tandem with my postgraduate academic years, English has remained the primary language of communication in my professional involvements in multi-national projects (EU, UN, Embassies and NGOs). Furthermore, during this period, I have also taken part as a translator and editor in specific projects such as the translation of the EU Acquis into Turkish. For more than 10 years both here and abroad, I am within a never-ending process requiring an upper level of proficiency in technical-diplomatic communication abilities as well. On this basis, regardless of the current level, I am also open to similar customized planning for those prioritizing a specific exam, project, assignment, or a particular area of expertise and field of interest.

his mathematics class is designed to support and challenge students aged 7 to 17, adapting to their school level, learning pace, and individual goals. Whether a student is building foundational skills, catching up, or aiming to excel, the class provides a structured, engaging, and confidence-building learning environment. What the Class Will Be Like 1. Personalized Learning: Each student’s current level is assessed first. Lessons are tailored to match school curriculum requirements and personal strengths or difficulties. Younger students focus on understanding concepts, while older students work on accuracy, speed, and depth of problem-solving. 2. Concept-First Approach: Emphasis is placed on why mathematics works, not just memorizing formulas. Concepts are explained using simple language, visuals, real-life examples, and step-by-step reasoning. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely and think out loud. 3. Age-Appropriate Topics: Ages 7–10: Number sense, basic arithmetic, fractions, shapes, measurements, and logical thinking through games and activities. Ages 11–14: Integers, ratios, percentages, algebra basics, geometry, data handling, and word problems. Ages 15–17: Advanced algebra, equations, functions, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, statistics, and exam-oriented problem solving. 4. Interactive and Engaging Sessions: Lessons include practice problems, short challenges, quizzes, and guided problem-solving. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities to build confidence. Students are taught multiple methods to solve problems, helping them choose what works best for them. 5. Skill Development Beyond Exams: Logical reasoning and analytical thinking Time management and structured problem-solving Confidence in approaching unfamiliar questions independently 6. Regular Feedback and Progress Tracking: Continuous feedback is given to students and parents. Weak areas are revisited until clarity is achieved. Improvement is tracked over time, not just through marks but through understanding. Learning Environment: The class atmosphere is supportive, patient, and motivating, ensuring students feel comfortable learning at their own pace while being gently challenged to grow. Goal of the Class: To help students not just do mathematics, but understand it, enjoy it, and feel confident using it—both in school and beyond.
