Beginning trombone at a young age, I undertook lessons through my school's music program. After a decade of live performance and touring, I began a Bachelor of Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, completing my formal studies after 4 years.

I have over 20 years of live performance experience including tours through the Pacific islands, south east Asia and numerous tours through Europe. As a teacher I have 10 years experience teaching in between performance obligations, including time at numerous primary and secondary schools as well as maintaining a private studio where I teach one on one.

My name is Waldemar and I am a classical piano teacher.
I teach young (from 8 years old) and old, individually or in groups.

I received my training from Fania Chapiro in Hilversum and later at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Danielle Dechenne.

Depending on your level, we will in principle cover all aspects of technique and interpretation. You can always make special requests known to me.
In addition, I think it is important to structure the lessons and focus on themes so that you really learn something.

My name is Davor, professional jazz musician and music teacher. I've been teaching for 9 years and I've met students of many different levels (from beginners to advanced), so everyone is welcome!

I'm a professional Bass player and teacher based in Amsterdam.
I have studied with some of the best teachers in Europe as well as famous bassists from the New York Jazz Scene. Besides my studies I have been actively performing, recording and teaching since age 16, which led me to play at different festivals and venues such as North Sea Jazz, JazzOpen Stuttgart, Bimhuis, DeDoelen Rotterdam.
I'm calm and easy going and I want to pass on the knowledge I got from my teachers as well as my own experience. I always focus on getting you ready or better at playing in a band, since that's what we do as bass players! I'm experienced in and open to a wide variety of styles, my specialization being Jazz.

I have been playing the trumpet for more than 15 years and have experience in many different music genres like Jazz, Pop, Classical, Baroque. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. I used to do a lot of teaching (young to old) when I was still residing in Slovenia. The Bass guitar lessons are given at all levels from beginners to advanced / professionals. You learn how to play the instrument, with the right attitude and the right technical and theoretical underpinning of everything you want to learn. A somewhat broader music theoretical knowledge can also be taught. Customization is provided to the student's wishes.

The music theory lessons provide insight into how western music theory functions and how it is applied in practice. Exercises are also done to develop the hearing and music theoretical exercises are done on the basis of either piano, guitar or bass guitar. The aim is to understand what the theory behind music is and why it functions that way.

The Guitar (or Piano) lessons are only given at beginners level. The basic skills of the instrument are taught and an insight is also given into simple music theoretical issues with which the student can benefit from these acquired insights until a much more advanced stage and make faster progress on his/her instrument.

Hey! My name is Daan and I am a keyboard player, producer and songwriter and I am happy to teach piano at your home in Amsterdam.

I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam pop department and am also very active in bands (as a keyboardist, singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer) and as a producer/songwriter in various genres.

As a teacher, I am mainly concerned with what the student wants to achieve and what can be gotten out of the student. Do you want to learn that one new song by Billie Eilish, or an advanced piece by Stevie Wonder; I can always help you. The great thing about music is that you can learn and perform it at all kinds of levels. My job is to find the right level for the right student, so that progress can be made at the same time as there is fun during the lessons.

In addition, I find it important that my students not only play the piano, but also understand the music and build up a knowledge of the music theory behind the pieces. This has helped me a lot to quickly make big steps as a musician.

I teach violin to children and adults, beginners and advanced.

Every student is unique. Besides developing good technique, I also enjoy meeting each student's musical wishes and dreams. Learning to play the violin is a collaborative process!

From the very first lesson, I pay a lot of attention to playing together, because making music together is the most fun there is!

In addition to individual lessons, I support my students' playing in orchestras, ensembles, and bands. There are also several opportunities to perform with the accompaniment of a professional pianist. Once a year, I organize a video recording day with several students for competitions and contests. My students have won awards, both in the Netherlands and internationally.

In addition to individual lessons, I offer a "MY LITTLE VIOLIN" STROLL COURSE for children aged 3-5. This course consists of 10 lessons for young children, introducing them to music and the violin. I also offer this course to English- and German-speaking children.

I teach violin in four different languages: Dutch, German, English and Italian.

Violin lessons at home are also possible.

About Me:
I'm a violinist with the Dutch National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam. I've worked with numerous orchestras both in the Netherlands and abroad. I also perform chamber music and Brazilian choro (Duo Chorinho, with Alvaro Rovira Ruiz on guitar). I received international training at the conservatories of Hamburg, Rome, and Amsterdam.

I have been working as a violin teacher for over 30 years, including internationally, including a masterclass for Brazilian violin students at the University of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
