I hold an MSc in Chemical Engineering, an MSc in Materials Science & Technology and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. I also hold the Proficiency in English certificate from the University of Michigan and the University of Cambridge.

July 2016 - July 2018: Supervisor of 2 Ph.D. students on Heterogeneous Catalysis (HDO reaction) at LCT, Ghent University.
September 2013 - June 2014: Supervisor of an MSc student on the experimental investigation of the reaction pathway of OCM over various catalysts at pressures up to 20 bar and quantification of catalyst descriptors trough micro-kinetic modeling of the produced data at LCT, Ghent University.
September 2013, Ghent: Teaching assistant on the application of ATHENA Visual studio on OCM case studies at the summer school ‘Introduction to Chemical Reaction and Reactor Engineering’.

I have been playing chess since I was 6 years old, individually and for various chess teams, mostly in Greece. I have won the Thessaloniki tournament for ages under 15 and have met Kasparov and Karpov playing in the chess olympics in 1986! I love this game and I enjoy teaching new chess players!
I am a Greek Chemical Engineer working at Ghent with over 10 years of professional experience in teaching (and coaching). I enjoy teaching by adjusting to the personality and needs of every student.
