Hi!

My name is Tatiana and I am a flute player and an electronic musician.

My passion for music first started when I was young and my parents showed me Brazilian folk music and I felt that I wanted to be able to play some of my favourite songs.
I ended up in a classic conservatory and throughout my career I developed myself both as a classical and folk musician.

I started to teach when I was 18 and for 6 years I taught in a project similar to the one of El Sistema in Venezuela. There I found how music can take such a social action on a community and develop the feeling of responsibility and friendship.

In our lessons I would love tho share this feeling with you and enable you to develop the tools to share your passion with the world. This can come from playing a song, learning how to program or just by finding new ways on how to hear and experience music.

Biography
Tatiana is a Portuguese flutist and audio-visual artist, currently based in Amsterdam. Her current research is deeply linked with contemporary performance art’s potential to fuel socio-political change. In her work, she tries to expand on the close relationship between art, social inequality and technological impact. As an audiovisual maker she aims for the articulation of a conceptual space that leads to a shared cognitive experience between herself (as a maker performer) and the audience. In her most recent works, this has been achieved by performing translations from one media art form to another. These began to occur naturally, by way of a growing interest in concepts such as synesthesia, synchronization and processes such as intermedia translation and interpretation and the way these can relate to the social sphere. She has presented work in The Netherlands, Portugal, France, Greece, Iceland, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Belgium, United Kingdom, Spain and Poland as part of festivals such as Rewire, Amsterdam Dance Event, Gaudeamus Muziekweek, Athens Digital Arts Festival, O. Festival, Cello Biënnale Amsterdam, Sounds of Music Groningen, Plan B Art Festival, Amsterdam Fringe Festival, Nowy Teatr, Festival Música Viva, Warsaw Autumn, among others. She regularly collaborates with Asko|Schönberg Ensemble, ENOA and the Futurists. Tatiana is an artist in residency in Splendor Amsterdam as part of their Jonge Honden program until September 2023.ithin the ensemble Trash Panda Collective.

I am Josefien, a Belgian harpist living in Amsterdam. As a master student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I offer private harp lessons for young and old. I have experience in teaching and adapt the lessons as much as possible to the wishes of the student.
When you first get acquainted with the harp, we start with the basic techniques linked to simple melodies. Advanced students are also welcome to expand their knowledge of the instrument and work together on new repertoire.

My name is Josefien and I am a Belgian harpist, currently living in Amsterdam. I am completing my master studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I have experience in teaching. I am offering private harp lessons, for both children and adult students at all levels.
With beginner harpists we will focus on learning the fundamentals of the harp and cover the basic technique. With more advanced students we can work on new and more challenging repertoire together. Of course the lessons can be adapted to the wishes and needs of every student.

Hello! I'm Nina, a drummer from Amsterdam.
I am currently studying pop/rock drums at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht.
I play in 2 bands. I also play in many different session projects (from pop to rock). I work a lot with hybrid drums (triggers and SPD) and also teach them with Ableton.

The studio is located in the Q-Factory in Amsterdam with two professional drum kits and sound system.
In addition, I can occasionally offer a lesson in Utrecht!
If all this is too far or for some other reason not reachable, lessons at home and / or online are also possible!

We can work on, among other things:
- Hand technique (how do I hold my sticks? Or which stick technique do I use for different music styles?)
Creativity (how can I ultimately make cool parts on the drums myself? Or different parts than what you initially came up with?)
- Improvisation (lots of playing and trying!)
- Timing (playing along with songs, with click tracks, how can I become more playful with the click?)
- Relaxed posture
- Drum notation (learning to read drum notes)
- New fills, grooves and beats
- Sound (how do I tune my drums? which drum sound do I want for different types of music?)
- Hybrid drums (working with samples on the SPD and/or triggers) in combination with Ableton

And of course we will play along to your favorite songs a lot!
