For the exercises, I first let the student suggest his method of solving because each problem can be approached in several ways and it is much more productive to start from the student's ideas. I favor understanding by heart because I consider that memorization is only rarely necessary in math and science. Once the material is perfectly assimilated, we retain it much longer than if we study it without understanding it. My engineering studies allowed me to better link the abstract concepts of mathematics and science to concrete problems. Tanveer has given math and physics lessens to our twins of 18 years for more than a year now. He is a very knowledgeable and committed teacher. He connects well with the students and is therefor very good in motivating the boys and keeping their attention. He even managed to get them to attend lessens on Saturday morning. Overall a very good teacher that I can only recommend.

Serdane is a wonderful teacher. Although my daughter learnt French at school she was very unconfident. Serdane was very sympathetic and gave her interesting material to read, discuss and to learn in class. She also went back to the basics which my daughter had missed out on at school and eventually my daughter graduated with 8.8 in French at the European BAC!
