I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker, born in Gansu Province, China, and I completed my secondary education in Sichuan. Growing up in different regions of China gave me a rich cultural background and a broad understanding of everyday Chinese life and language.

Later, I moved to Belgium to study at university in Dutch, and today I work as a mechanical engineer. I am also a father of two children. Living abroad and learning new languages myself has helped me understand how challenging — but also how fun — language learning can be.

I prefer to teach Chinese in a relaxed and enjoyable way. My lessons feel more like natural conversations than formal classes. We can talk about daily life, culture, travel, food, family, or any topic that interests you. I believe that language grows best in a comfortable and friendly environment.

I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from China, currently living in Belgium. I was born in Gansu Province and completed my secondary education in Sichuan. Later, I moved to Belgium to pursue higher education in Dutch.

I am a Chinese woman with college degree , I have worked in international company as senior manager for 15 years , and then I moved to Belgium for 2 years .
In the last 2 years , I teach my own kids chinese lessen 4 hours per week with the chinese national school textbook , now my first kid knows round 2000 chinese charactors , she can read and write , talking is certainly as a native speaker . My second kid was 5 years old when we moved to Belgium , so she didn't learn any chinese lesson in China , so I began with her from pinyin , now she can read story books with pinyin and she learns more than 500 charactors .
From teaching my own kids chinese lessens , I collected lots of experience and I trained my patience . I have to say , if the teacher can make the lessons interesting , then with love , passion and patience , she or he can teach . My name is Emilie! I learned and studied Mandarin Chinese for 10 years in a Taiwanese school.
Perfectly bilingual in Chinese and French, and now for 8 years (teaching experience with more than ten students), I teach Chinese out of passion, in order to discover the richness of this language as well as Chinese culture.

I offer individual lessons to learn the Chinese language and culture. The lessons are interactive and fun. I offer crafts, nursery rhymes and songs, board games, mime and guessing games, Chinese calligraphy, etc.
All activities are done in Chinese, which allows you to learn while having fun. In addition, I take into consideration the opinions of parents and children at the end of each lesson. This is a practising-oriented course for students to practice their oral and listening skills. It is also designed for students from a very young age ( suitable for kids and adults).

For all aged students, the procedure is mainly carried out with daily communication dialogue, which encourages students to express their thoughts in Chinese.

For kids who are under 10 years old, the course is aiming at enriching the students' vocabulary and improving their speaking and listening skills (e.g. interesting stories, popular songs and poetries, help reading books are also considered to be a part of the course content). Different levels of courses are designed according to sepcific requirements of the students. Besides, assistance for Chinese - related homework is also provided.

For teenagers and adults, the course format is mainly as a conversation with friends in every course with different topics. New words and expressions can be obtained in a new topic which depends on the sharing thoughts on both ( the student and the teacher) sides.
