My second kid was 5 years old when we moved to Belgium , so she didn't learn any chinese lesson in China , so I began with her from pinyin , now she can read story books with pinyin and she learns more than 500 charactors . From teaching my own kids chinese lessens , I collected lots of experience and I trained my patience . I have to say , if the teacher can make the lessons interesting , then with love , passion and patience , she or he can teach . Who truly knows how to tailor a programme to each individual student. In 3 weeks, I've grown from knowing close to no grammar to being able to form proper sentences for everyday use. One aspect I value a lot about her way of teaching is that we apply the grammar not only to every-day situations but also to topics that tailor to my personal life circumstances.
