Trusted teacher: A little bit about my background... Currently I’m running a school in Japan and I work as a headteacher. I have 10 years of teaching experience in both English and Japanese, providing group lessons and private lessons primarily in Japan and Toronto. I grew up in Japan, therefore, I am fluent in Japanese. Besides English and Japanese, I’m also fluent in Farsi. After graduating from a Japanese high school, I went to University of Toronto to study Life Science and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science. I was hired as a language teacher in one of the language school located in downtown Toronto. While I was in Toronto, I aimed to provide maximum opportunities for both Japanese and foreign students to share their perspectives and opinions on different topics while understanding cultural, habitual and historical differences. I have always been eager to learn different language and I had always loved teaching outside of work during my free time, which led me to build my career in education and I have obtained many years of professional teaching experiences over time. Understanding and applying what a student needs is the key to my student's achievements and success, therefore, I will make sure to provide my students an excellent platform for enhancing the quality of their language they’re learning and applying their knowledge to the real-life conversations. A female linguist once said that “Learning a language is like falling in love” What do you think she meant.....?

Turkish learning like never experienced before! No details left unexplained! Grammar in its complete sense! Merhaba! This is a certified mother-tongue teacher of the Turkish language and culture from Bursa. I have been working with numerous language schools in Turkey, in Europe, and in global platforms since 2011. I completed a program for teaching Turkish as a foreign language at Marmara University in Istanbul. I am also the Turkish language delegate for Directors Languages based in the UK, and a member of the Turkish team for Innovative Language Learning headquartered in Japan. I have built an exclusive method for Turkish teaching, being a self-language-learner myself. The lessons are adjustable for any kind of journalistic, touristic, romantic, gastronomic, linguistic, scientific, artistic, religious, historical, cultural, or commercial purposes; any level from hello to Ottoman poetry; background of any other language, way of learning, means of learning in person or via the Internet, and age. My spectrum of students expands from children to CEOs. I prefer proceeding with a constructive and conversational methodology for proper comprehension and confident learning of the Turkish language in the smoothest structure possible. That way, learners will have the freedom to make their own sentences once they are comfortable with the fundamental grammar and logic of the language, as well as the relevant vocabulary. I also enjoy making comparisons between world languages, clarifying to learners the origins of words, similarities in grammar, and contrasts in concepts. I spend great attention to the needs, motivation, and interests of learners so that I can pave the best order of topics, and choose the necessary glossary in a sufficient amount. I guide them to clear their previous confusion about Turkish with simple and logical explanations. I also help them to realize that they are making stable progress and that the things they learn are essential and part of the everyday, living language. I accumulated quite a rich resource of materials both written and audio-visual, including the prominent textbooks in the market, and a collection of various hardcopy and online varieties. Role-play dramatizations of real-life situations comprise an important part of classes. After each lesson, I provide learners with various supportive documents and exercises, as well as audio and visual practices if possible. When necessary, I can produce new material according to the exact needs and interests of my students. I also recommend them external sources to familiarize themselves with the language in their free time like popular songs and TV shows according to their personal tendencies. Overall, I am trying my best for their experience of learning Turkish to be efficient and fun, including related cultural explanations. Instructions can be in English, Italian, and Japanese. If you are interested, contact me kindly. I hope that we can discover this beautiful language and culture together! Trusted teacher: Certified abilities with JLPT N1 (Advanced Level) and over a decade of experience using Japanese. I will make an individual plan with the student, teach writing, pronunciation, characters, phrases, grammar, idioms, everyday language and much more. I will also share my best tips when studying Japanese. I can cover JLPT N5 to N2 levels or assist with your homework. I can teach you: 1) Pronunciation (my pronunciation is good for a foreigner so I can help you have a more natural sounding pronunciation early on because I put effort into it). 2) Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji 3) Beginner and intermediate speaking and vocabulary. 4) Advice on how to improve your Japanese by yourself and which resources and tools to use. 5) Digital flashcards to memorize vocabulary. 6) Correct your mistakes I learned Japanese by myself and moved to Japan where I went to uni for 4 years. By the time I graduated I got certified with the JLPT N1 (highest level) test. After graduation I worked for a top IT company in Tokyo where I used Japanese for work and also did some translation. Therefore I am well aware of the struggles of learning Japanese. I lived in Japan 6 years total and could already speak everyday Japanese from the moment I stepped into Japan (if my learning strategy and preparation worked for me then it must work for you as well!). My class should be online via skype. if you live in Chiang Mai, I can teach you in person. Certified English abilities with TOEIC score 940. Contact me first, think later! I will reply asap.

Yuka - Osaka2131 EGP
Trusted teacher: Hi! I’m Yuka, native Japanese. I was born and raised in Kyushu (south part of Japan) and now living in Osaka. I studied in Canada when I was a university student so English is available. If you are a beginner, I recommend studying Japanese in your language. (or the language you can understand well) If you go to a Japanese school in Japan, it's basically teaching in Japanese even for beginners and teachers don't understand English but I think that's not efficient. Of course, I try to make you use Japanese as much as you can because speaking is the most important thing. In my lesson, you get many opportunities to practice speaking! Now English is only available for my lesson but I'm studying Chinese and German so hopefully I will use them as well in the future! 中級者なら日本語でレッスンしますが、英語で質問しても大丈夫です。Once you start to speak Japanese, Japanese people just say "日本語上手ですね" and nobody corrects your Japanese even if you make many mistakes, so I can teach you proper Japanese for the intermediate level. I also have a license of teaching Japanese calligraphy, so if you're interested we can also have a class of it. きれいな文字や習字に興味がある人は、ぜひ! I also study other languages so I can understand how you feel. That's why I can be flexible for you, even in the middle of the lesson, you can always suggest things(what you wanna study, how you wanna study, etc...), then we can make the perfect lesson for you :) Please don’t hesitate to contact me. The best way to learn a new language is to speak and practice! Let’s enjoy our conversation! I’m looking forward to becoming your tutor and helping you with your learning experience :) We can meet face-to-face in cafes if you live in Kansai area(Osaka 大阪, Kobe 神戸, Hyogo 兵庫, Kyoto 京都). I usually have lesson in Umeda 梅田. Let me know if you have a preferred learning method/ textbook.

Joanne is an excellent and highly professional teacher. She took the time to carefully listen to what I wanted to learn and prepared the lessons accordingly. Her explanations of grammar were clear and detailed. As a native Japanese speaker, I especially appreciated how she highlighted both the similarities and differences between Korean and Japanese, which greatly deepened my understanding. The example sentences she provided were practical and relevant to everyday use, helping me not only to grasp the grammar but also to improve my conversational skills. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Korean.
