Giorgos has continually shown in every class I've taken with him to have a very good rapport with students and great teaching competence, showing the ability to explain topics, questions and mistakes in a way that the student understands and learns from. He's supportive of the level of knowledge, goals and the different musical tastes of students, allowing the diversification of the topics and repertoire studied in class, thus creating an excellent learning environment. I enjoyed my first lessons. It was both very practical since I learned a lot about the technical aspect of playing an instrument (hand positioning, body posture, etc.) and about the history of harp. The teacher also gave me advice regarding buying my own harp. She was very attentive and paid attention to my every movement, to make sure that I played it all correctly. Great first experience with George! Very friendly and polite. I have had some lessons before, but this is way more personalized and to my liking. We really took the time (almost half of the first session!) to figure out our initial direction, and then we dove straight in. Very knowledgeable on the instrument, he already raised my confidence! Will definitely book again!
