For example, I liken passé composé to a snapshot—capturing completed actions, while imparfait is more like a video, showing ongoing or habitual actions. Using everyday examples like “J’ai fini mes devoirs” (I finished my homework) or “Je lisais chaque soir” (I used to read every evening), I make these tenses practical and easy to understand.

In math, I apply the same approach by breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, layering in theory and real-life applications to build problem-solving skills progressively. My aim is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, exploring new concepts that are not taught in school, and refining their skills in math or French.
