With 7 years of experience behind me and around forty students, I noticed that the best teaching method was a transversal approach, working from the beginning on musical expression using compositions adapted to the student's level, as well as exercises focused on paying attention to our body, our movements and our musical intention. This approach adapts to everyone's desires. Adults and children of all ages are welcome, the first lesson always being free, at my home on a Grand piano.

With children, this takes the form of age-appropriate, playful teaching, with which I identify one or two specific objectives to achieve that allow complex concepts to be communicated in a simple way. Learning through physical experience allows all of these things to be approached in a guided and easily accessible way.

About Me

Having started at age 6, I have been exploring the piano for 21 years. Since 2017, I have taught around forty students, both children and adults, with varying levels of experience. After receiving classical piano training for 12 years, I went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in jazz piano (cum laude) from the Rotterdam Conservatory and a Master's degree in philosophy. My diverse background informs my teaching and provides me with multiple points of contact with each student, allowing me to better support their musical journey. In addition to classical piano and music theory, we can also explore jazz piano, improvisation, composition, and Indian and Indonesian musical traditions for those who are interested. I can teach in English, French, and Italian.

Multi-award winner as a soloist (Avignon Jazz Showcase best instrumentalist) or with my trio project, Anaphora (Italy Music Export 2022, Culture moves Europe 2023, Keep an Eye 2024), commissioned for compositions, I have a wide range of experiences which inform my courses and offer me several points of contact with each student to better help them in their journey.
