You have some basic French skills but feel lost in translation when it comes to everyday life?

Having experience in teaching conversational French for more than two years, I have developed more than 50 topics in everyday life for discussion that suit from beginners to advanced level.
Throughout the course, you will expand new vocabularies for working and living in Belgium, learn common phrases in different situation and deepen your knowledge of Belgian culture.

At the end of each sessions, I will show you where to improve on lexis or pronunciations and explain grammar points if necessary.

Disclaimer: my conversation class being based on talking, if you're a true beginner, I would recommend you to start with a dedicated teacher who will start from zero with you.

French classes for adults and children who are beginners or who wish to improve their skills.

The course is adaptable according to the level and mother tongue of each student. The subjects covered will also be determined in relation to the expectations and specific needs of each student. If he is already taking lessons, it is possible to tackle the subject to be improved together.

In general, each course consists of an oral part with special attention to pronunciation as well as a listening comprehension and written comprehension part.

Many exercises will be offered in order to master each point covered in the course.

FLE teacher graduated from the Alliance française Bruxelles-Europe. I taught in Laos (1 year in a local school) in Peru (1 year in a college and in a French alliance), in Moscow (2 years in a private language school), in Brussels (6 month in an association that delivers courses to newcomers and the F9 for private and group lessons at the ULB).
The type of teaching that I favor is based on active pedagogy, constant interaction of the learner with his teacher and his environment, a cultural exchange and a clear and precise understanding of the objectives to be achieved.

My name is Serdane and I offer French as a foreign language classes for teenagers and adults. Extrovert and bubbly ... and above all, a lot of humor! Languages are my passion, and I am always happy to share this passion with others.

Everyone learns in his own way. This is why I do not have a rigid method but adapt to the contrary to the specificities of each student. My name is Huyen and I have held a diploma in teaching French (foreign language - FLE) since 2012 from the Higher Institute of Translators and Interpreters (now attached to the Free University of Brussels). Former interpreter at the Lille High Court, I am now a teacher.

I offer French lessons for children. I know that learning a new language can be intimidating at first, and improving is quite a challenge. However, everyone learns in their own way and at their own pace. This is why the course content and teaching method will change from one student to another. The lessons will be developed and adapted according to the student's level but also their needs and learning style. I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.
