The first is anyone learning Polish from scratch or picking it back up: because of a Polish partner, Polish colleagues, work, or because you're moving there. Polish has a reputation for being impossible. It isn't, but it does need someone who can explain why a word changes shape instead of handing you a table to memorise. We build from real sentences you'll actually use, and we speak from the first lesson, badly at first, which is the only way it works. The second is Polish families in the Netherlands whose children are losing the language. Kids here switch to Dutch or English fast, and reading and writing go first. We keep it alive with conversation, reading and writing that doesn't feel like homework. I adapt to what you need: survival phrases before a trip, the grammar you keep getting wrong, or just an hour a week of speaking to someone patient. I teach in Polish and English.

Hello! My name is Ewelina, and I am a native Polish speaker with an international background. I am fluent in Polish, Italian, and English, and I understand the challenges of learning a new language because I have learned and used multiple languages myself. My lessons are tailored to your individual goals, whether you are learning Polish for travel, work, relocation, family, or personal interest.

Helping with homework, giving private lessons and revisions. 18 years of experience in teaching in Poland. Polish language, English language, maths, biology. Teacher is speaking Polish, English and Russian (communicating also in Ukrainian).

Hi, I'm Marcin, a native Polish speaker from Warsaw. I work with Polish website and app content, helping it sound clear and natural. In our lessons, we'll practise the Polish people use every day: chatting with friends, shopping, meeting new people and talking about your interests. We can explore casual expressions and a little slang too, including when it is appropriate to use them. I'm learning English myself and have also started learning Brazilian Portuguese. I know the feeling of wanting to say something but not finding the words. I'll give you time to think, explain corrections calmly and help you feel comfortable speaking. Whether you're learning your first Polish words or want more conversation practice, we'll choose a starting point that suits you. Lessons are mainly in Polish, with simple English support when needed. We'll use conversation, short everyday situations and pronunciation practice at your pace.

I've been learning exclusively in English for eight years now. Living in The Hague, I understand that sometimes a lack of English can be challenging. That's why I'm happy to help both adults and children learn English. I'd like lessons to focus primarily on conversation, not tedious exercises. I'd also be happy to help children with their school homework.

I can teach at the student's home or online via webcam. I still have my study plan, so we arrange the hours privately. My name is Barbara, a student at Maastricht University and a Polish teacher. I'm from Warsaw, so Polish is my native language. Our classes will be very diverse. I will be using many different teaching methods; from reading english stories, watching english movies, to playing short scenes with me. I have some experience teaching languages to young children in Poland. Besides teaching the language itself, I will also be able to teach about Polish culture, customs or whatever the student wishes. Sorry for the many errors in this Dutch description, I used the translator.

I offer private Polish and English lessons tailored to all levels. During my lessons, I always take detailed notes and explain each concept carefully. We work through practical exercises together and primarily use proven textbooks, while adapting to your individual needs. My main goal is to help you develop your vocabulary, grammar, and above all, fluent communication. If your level allows, we can conduct the course entirely in the target language. I have extensive experience teaching English to children and use it daily. Polish is my native language, having lived most of my life in Poland. I look forward to meeting you!

As an English tutor, I focus on helping children with all the aspects of the language that trouble them, or that they would like to improve. I can do so by assigning my own exercises, or by helping with any school work that has been assigned. Preparing for exams is another task which I can effectively help with. As a Polish tutor, I can help with whatever is necessary for my client.

Would you like to speak Polish more confidently with your partner’s family, colleagues or people you meet in everyday situations? I am a native Polish teacher with six years of recent teaching experience and an international professional background. I hold an MA in Conference Interpreting from London Metropolitan University and previously worked for approximately ten years as a public-service interpreter in the United Kingdom. My lessons are particularly suitable for English-speaking adults who want to: • communicate with Polish relatives and friends; • manage everyday situations in Poland; • understand natural, connected Polish; • speak without translating every sentence in their head; • use Polish more confidently at work; • understand Polish grammar through clear explanations in English. Each course begins with an assessment of your current level, goals and priorities. We then create a practical learning plan based on the situations in which you genuinely need Polish. Lessons combine speaking, listening, practical vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar. You will practise complete phrases and realistic conversations rather than memorising isolated word lists. I teach all levels, from complete beginner to advanced, and adapt the pace, materials and homework to each student. Book a lesson and start using Polish with greater confidence in real-life situations.
