My name is Ula, and I’m originally from Poland. I hold a degree in Translation and in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked both in private language schools and as a private tutor. Languages are my true passion, and I love sharing that passion with others. My goal is to create engaging, personalized lessons tailored to each student’s needs, helping them progress confidently and enjoyably on their language-learning journey. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging at times, but with the right support and approach, we can overcome those hurdles together and achieve great results. I speak English, Polish, Russian, and have conversational knowledge of Slovak and Ukrainian.

Goodbye! My name is Filip, I was born in Poland. I've been learning English since I was 2 - now I'm at C2 level, which I can prove with my CAE certificate. In the summer of 2021 I moved to Vienna to learn German and to prepare for my studies. I offer lessons in both Polish and English. I'm still learning German, so you can be sure that mostly I will use Polish and English. I already have experience in tutoring - I have prepared some people for the Matura. I have been a teacher for over 30 years, and I gained experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the People's University (Volksuniversiteit) in The Hague (Netherlands). Since 2015 I have been teaching Polish to adults from different backgrounds at this university. I am a teacher with language teaching preparation, which means that I am prepared to conduct Polish lessons as a foreign or second language Moreover, children from Polish-Dutch families were or currently are participants in my private and group lessons at a Saturday school in the Netherlands. Given my disciplined, reliable and professional attitude, I am happy to take up any challenge in teaching Polish as a foreign language. I use simple yet effective teaching methods such as a focus on direct contact with the language, natural acquisition of vocabulary and grammar or frequent repetition of language material. During my lessons I mainly use the tools and materials from various publishers. Being a teacher gives me great satisfaction, especially when I see students ambitiously continue their language learning and try to use and expand their knowledge at every interaction with the Polish society.
