Reconciling students with mathematics, physics and chemistry: this is the objective that I set for myself. How ?

The purpose of this particular course is twofold. On the one hand, to catch up with the student, by helping him to build a solid technical base in the subject of his choice. On the other hand, guide him in his working method by aiming for productivity and academic autonomy.

Today, a large number of students remain stuck in front of their notebooks for hours, without assimilating the slightest knowledge. Fascinated by productivity, I have long studied the factors that allow students to shine in their studies. Studying effectively is a skill that is not innate for everyone, but fortunately, it can be learned! Through these courses, I would like to guide students towards a productive way of working, in order to allow them to find an academic independence which will be vital for the transition to higher education.

A productive student will achieve better results by working less, which will allow him to savor the material, rather than undergo it. The satisfaction that is derived will then help him to maintain a level of motivation throughout the year.

My accompaniment:

• Available H24, 7/7, via message/email outside of class to answer urgent questions about a class or an exercise.
• Provide additional exercises if necessary.
• Organization of “mock” exams to simulate real assessment conditions.
• Possibility of giving lessons to two students at the same time if they are in the same class.

About Me
My name is Victor, an engineer who just graduated from a double degree between the Free University of Brussels and the Ecole polytechnique (X) in Paris. I have always been passionate about teaching, and I started giving private lessons in the last years of secondary school.

Course of a course:
• A specific question? An exercise that poses a problem?
• Resolution of additional exercises, with an increasing level of difficulty.
• Drafting of a "summary" sheet with the student to help him develop his autonomy and productivity.
• Summary of the session.

Today, having just finished my studies in Europe, I am preparing for my year in the United States next year. I'm leaving for an additional master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from August, and I would like to put aside beforehand to finance my studies!

Having recently passed the GRE exam for my complementary master in the United States, I propose to accompany students in the preparation of this stressful exam, where time is vital to have a good score.

My accompaniment:
• Available H24, 7/7, via message/email outside of class to answer urgent questions about a class or an exercise.
• Provide additional exercises if necessary.

Two types of courses are possible:

(1) On the one hand, support courses for the elderly. How to facilitate his access to his emails? How to configure your computer hardware? How to create a simple and robust IT environment over time.
(2) On the other hand, I teach programming to people who would like to discover this field. I can teach several programming languages, but Python is probably the one I recommend to start with.

Thanks to the Zoom software, possibility for me to unlock your computer problems remotely in case of emergency!

My accompaniment:

• Available H24, 7/7, via message/email outside of class to answer urgent questions, or to solve an unforeseen computer problem.
• Provide additional exercises if necessary.
• Possibility of giving lessons to two students at the same time if they are in the same class.

The success of students and students in science, as well as the development of their potential, is important to me. Subjects considered difficult, such as mathematics and physics, are accessible to all with determination and perseverance. I attach great importance to sharing my knowledge in these areas with others, especially high school students. Placing the student at the center of my concerns, the support I offer is in harmony with the teachers.

With 10 years of experience as an engineer, I worked in risk studies of industrial systems within large automotive and railway groups. My skills also extend to life coaching, and I am a certified master practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I am bilingual in French and English.

With 5 years of experience as a math and physics teacher, I also offer distance learning courses via the Google Meet application, given the current context. Do not hesitate to contact me for more details.

I followed my schooling in math / science strong at the Royal Athenaeum of Uccle 1 with good results and realized many projects and extracurricular activities related to maths & sciences. I am entering the 3rd year of civil engineering at the ULB where my first two years went well with successes in the first session. I already took private lessons when I was in 5th and 6th high school students aged 12 to 16 years. I also gave remediation and tutoring to young students in order to instill in them a certain method of work / discipline.

During the first class I try to target the level and the personality of the student by doing with him his homework and the preparation for his next control. I always try in my explanations to start from very simple bases to reduce to the complexity of the question. It's just the way I work myself! I think it is important to repeat many similar exercises at first to make sure that it is acquired before moving on.

Even if it seems obvious to specify, learning lessons is the most important thing to do when you want to progress.
One could think that doing and doing dozens of exercises is enough to improve.

Student in the last year of engineering school specializing in mechanical engineering I give courses in maths and physics. I propose an individualized and active pedagogy. I can move on the Brussels Capital Region. Possibility of doing courses of preparation before re-entry.

The civil engineer applied physics option, electricity/chemistry in Louvain-la-Neuve / Brussels and approx.
- I teach:
-The Maths / Statistics
-Physics
-Chemistry
-Electricity / computing
-Engineering Sciences

- I can do all levels from primary to higher.

-I am motorized, so I can move.

Young dynamic teacher, I try to connect with the student, follow him to push him and reconcile with the subject. I try to explain the course using pictures and comparisons so that he can understand it more easily. I carry out a complete and personalized follow-up of the student to help him feel at ease in the subject and to pass his exams.

Extra information:

I worked in a school, finally, I supervise the blockades of students of the superior and answer their questions on the different subjects and help them organize themselves with schedules and personal coaching sessions.

It's been more than 7 years with more than fifty students from primary to the third year of bachelor or university.

Making contact and motivating students being a bit lost or recalcitrant is a priority for me.

Mathematics teacher for 16 years, I have taught in several international establishments (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Egypt, Morocco), at all levels (secondary and higher education).
I have often supervised and coached students outside the professional framework and know the students' needs well (organizational difficulties, drafting and reasoning problems, understanding of course concepts).

METHODOLOGY:

I favor an intuitive and popularized approach to abstract notions, supporting them with digital illustrations and animations to better understand them (especially between the 3rd and the 6th).
Before starting a course, I generally take stock of the difficulties and do not hesitate to go back to previous notions in order to consolidate them. I also offer methods and tips to solve the basic exercises but also to learn to consider solutions for more complex exercises.

I am a civil engineer in construction and during my career, I made a specialization in chemistry, physics.

I give lessons in everything related to science: math, physics, chemistry...
I have been teaching in Belgium and even in England since 2015.

Generally I ask the student to give me the material he wants to work on and the best thing is for him to prepare his questions so that we can move forward faster instead of being blocked and at the risk of reviewing parts that he has already understood. (Although I once had a class where I completely re-explained the teacher's syllabus.)

I also ask to become familiar with the material and nothing is better for that than doing a lot of exercises.

The course takes place by a review of the unclear points for the student and then I propose adapted exercises. If necessary, I can suggest a working method and the realization of revision sheets with the student.
I try to explain in a simple way.
