Focused on an outcome-based approach to progress and deadline-oriented. I usually hear from parents, that I make their kids love math, and it makes me the happiest teacher. First, as a Math Teacher, my main aim is to encourage students to analyze the problem carefully and find different solutions for one question. This method helps students to choose the easiest way of solution for her/him during the exam and finish it in time. I teach students both ways how to solve questions without a calculator with math tricks, and how to use a calculator more effectively. As you know in the exam there might be non-calculator and calculator papers. Moreover, this ability helps students not only to understand the math subject deeply but also will be very helpful during their adult life. Having teaching experience (Math and Statistics) in one of the top universities in the US (UW-Madison) helped me see the path of a student from the school bench to the university auditorium. Only by working in both school and university, you can understand what is better to learn for a student to be helpful in the future university years and how to show the connection between the math SAT and math at the university level. Years of hands-on work experience and a keen interest in Math teaching as a profession (in both school and university), as a deep understanding of the connection between school and university Math have prepared me well to see the strengths and weaknesses of the student and how to use that strong side of a student to improve the gaps that student earned in her/his earlier years. I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners and I have taught hundreds of students from all ages and professions for more than 20 years. I am a professional English teacher but I like teaching Turkish more as it is my mother tongue and it is a great pleasure for me to share its secrets and beauty. While teaching I also love giving some useful information about the culture, people, cuisine, films and literature in Turkey to help you get connected to Turkish culture. I prepare written and verbal dialogues in the areas the student is interested in. I am from Istanbul but I traveled almost all cities, mountains, rivers, lakes in Turkey. I am a person who likes less traveled roads and back streets. Traveling around the world and reading on the areas of spirituality, philosophy, psychology, and literature are my number one hobbies. I lived and worked in London, Toronto, and S. Korea. Living as an expat and learning several languages have helped me having sympathy with my students. Now I only teach Turkish privately and translate classical novels from English to Turkish. I translated 12 books from English to Turkish. I teach Turkish that is tailored for each student. Each student is unique for me and I know that every student has her/his own way of learning. If you are a beginner I give a short lecture about the history of Turkish and its characteristics and help you find your way in this very logical, consistent and elegant language. You understand that Turkish is different but that does not necessarily mean difficulty. From the first lesson, you start speaking Turkish and find yourself in a dialogue. I can teach at my place and your place (all around Istanbul). I use several books using a grammar-based approach integrated with communicative methods to boost the development of all language skills. But we always focus on TALK, TALK, TALK. As a language learner for many years, I know one can learn, improve and take pleasure in a foreign language only by talking and communicating. It is essential to get direct pleasure from what you have learned. My aim is to motivate and inspire you to speak Turkish ignoring minor mistakes and without thinking grammar. I try to keep in contact with my students almost every day through whatsapp and email. And start some short dialogues.

I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English. I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

Hello, I am Jasmin of Moroccan descent. born and raised in the Netherlands. I had my first lesson from Camille in Fethiye last week. I found it quite exciting at first, because my English and Arabic are not perfect. I am pleasantly surprised Cemille can teach very well and is a super nice, decently lady. (Dutch) hallo ik ben jasmin van Marokkaanse komaf. geboren wn getogen in nederland. ik heb afgelopen week mijn eerste les van camille in fethiye gehad. ik vond het eerst best spannend, want mijn engels en arabisch zijn niet perfect. ik ben aangenaam verast cemille kan super goed les geven en is een super leuke nette dame.
