Trusted teacher: Dominyka is a professional singing and piano teacher that teaches at her music school or at student’s home. She has over 8 years of experience in teaching. Dominyka taught over 400+ students from 4 years old to 70+ years old. As a teacher, her mission goes beyond teaching you how to sing or play; she instills confidence and encourages individuality. Important to mention that as a musician: a singer, singing and piano teacher that is currently based in The Hague - she also graduated a music school in violin and writes music. Over the past decade she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degree in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. In addition - completed a certificate of good conduct (VOG). I am very communicative and patient. As I hear from my students, they say that they enjoy my classes very much! And I promise you, that you will learn a lot in engaging and fun manner! I believe that each student should embrace what they would love to play, and I would consider to be open to what student wishes to play. Trusted teacher: Hello! I am an English saxophonist, guitarist, pianist and composer / music theorist, currently based in Maastricht, NL. I've been playing saxophone, guitar and piano for 15 years and after building a life around music and creative expression, it's my passion to share that with anyone eager to learn; at any level. I believe music can bring so much value to our lives, it can excite us and move us, give us a sense of purpose and identity and ultimately enrich us in ways we would never otherwise grow. Are you a musician already, but you haven’t opened the door to music theory and don’t know where to start? Perhaps you are preparing for upcoming exams, or you simply want to spark your curiosity further with the mechanics of music? At any level, I’m here to teach music theory for jazz and contemporary music. I want to show my students the connection between music on a theoretical level and their instruments. And how understanding the building blocks of music can lead to new creative avenues through which to express themselves. It can be a struggle to know where to get started both technically and theoretically; understanding your instrument and what you are playing can help to facilitate real musical growth. As a conservatory student, having followed advanced jazz music theory. I can help at any level to further your knowledge and understanding of music. Theory is such a powerful tool for composition, songwriting and improvisation, let’s learn together in an environment that puts you and your instrument first. I offer classes from beginner musicians to conservatory / music school entrance exams and everything in between & beyond. If you are interested, feel free to get in touch! Looking forward to meeting you! Francis

Trusted teacher: Blues Guitar and Blues Piano Lessons Delta Blues, Texas Blues, Piedmont Blues, West Coast Blues, Chicago Blues, Boogie Woogie, Barrelhouse, Jazz Blues If you want to learn to play the blues or expand your knowledge, you've come to the right place. Lessons are taught in a relaxed yet serious setting. I have a greater affinity for traditional blues than blues rock. You don't necessarily need to be able to read music, either for guitar or piano. I can teach you (the basics of) sheet music on the piano and explain the tablature system for guitar. You certainly don't have to follow the music stave religiously; finding the right feel and trying to improvise are more important and central. Recognize and understand the blues patterns: 8 bars, 12 bars, 16 bars, ragtime blues, and all its variations. A suitable schedule is made for each student personally. I'll determine what works best for you as an individual and, in consultation with you, develop a lesson plan based on that. For example, you can choose the songs you want to play and the techniques you'd like to learn/improve. I also know which instructional materials are most suitable for you and can draw from a substantial blues library, available in book, audio, and video formats. Acoustic Guitar Blues Fingerstyle, Travis picking, monotone bass, playing a bass line and melody notes at the same time, hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, double stops, heel damping, playing with a thumb pick and capo, mastering the country blues positions (C, D, E, G, A) and possibly alternative tunings (e.g. Vestapol and Drop D). Learn to play in the style of Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Blake, Blind Boy Fuller, Charley Patton, Brownie McGhee, Robert Johnson, Mance Lipscomb, etc. Electric Guitar Blues Pentatonic scales, blues ladders, blues boxes, blues chords/rhythms/licks/trills/riffs/turnarounds, phrasing, call and response, bending, vibrato, timing, dynamics. Learn to play in the style of BB King, Albert King, Freddie King, Otis Rush, T-Bone Walker, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Michael Bloomfield and more. Piano Blues Left hand patterns (eight to the bar, shuffles, walking bass, ascending and descending), tremolos, rolls, grace notes, drone notes, intros and outros, breaks, crossovers, comping, arpeggios, octaves, intervals (thirds and sixths), blues chords (6, 7 and 9) and their inversions. Learn to play in the style of Otis Spann, Memphis Slim, Big Maceo, Champion Jack Dupree, Pete Johnson, Albert Ammons, Dr. John, etc. For both beginners and advanced students and all ages. Lessons in Dutch or English are possible. You can choose the lesson duration and frequency yourself. Feel free to send a message for more information and questions.

Trusted teacher: Welcome to my profile! My name is Fabiola, and I am a violin and viola teacher and children’s orchestra conductor based in Maastricht. I work with students of all ages, creating a supportive, creative, and personalized learning environment where each student can grow at their own pace and enjoy making music. As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals. In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances. I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE). I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. I believe that discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand, and I enjoy guiding each student in their artistic and personal growth.

Haralambie

rating green star
Haralambie has provided incredible support throughout our sessions in a variety of challenging areas of mathematics. The breadth of Haralambie's expertise is evident in the many ways he can demonstrate the idea. I have benefitted from Haralambie's clarity in showing the relevance of specific theorems and how they connect with upcoming material. I have learned a lot from our sessions and he marries the conceptual gaps that come up by explaining the ideas and properties very well. Haralambie provides guidance, patience, and context to the topics covered in subjects that are otherwise disorienting. We work together to hammer out a conceptual stump. My learning experience with Haralambie is fun and engaging, and his input and guidance has been incredibly helpful in elucidating areas that I have missed which improves my approach to future problems.

I am very happy with Dominyka as my voice teacher. With her guidance, I have been able to improve my tone and widen my range much quicker than expected. Leessons are a joy: Dominyka can immediately hear and see what needs focus and explain what I must do to improve. This process is dynamic and fun, and I feel motivated to practice every day because I am inspired by these advancements. She can demonstrate many techniques with her beautiful voice. Most importantly, Dominyka is a trained and experienced teacher, so I know that my progress is healthy and sustainable. Highly recommended!
