After completing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at UCLouvain (physics-chemistry and mechanics option), I decided to continue my studies at the neighboring university. The subjects I teach are mathematics, chemistry and physics. Having also obtained my humanities diploma at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege, I can give lessons in French, Dutch or English. I like to actively involve my students in the course so that they understand the material well but above all that they find interest in it. I start from the principle that it is difficult to succeed in a subject without appreciating it a minimum and above all finding what it really serves us for! Our 7 year old son has had several lessons so far with Arif, and we have had a an excellent experience. We have been sharing the computer screen (using Zoom) with Arif as our son works through problems on Khan Academy. Arif has shown a lot of patience and a willingness to try and try again when our son is having trouble understanding a concept. The lessons have helped to motivate our son, and we are grateful to Arif for his help.
